The other day, we decided to bring Ace along to our Lions Club's charity yoga workshop by Yoga Master, Kamal... It was an unusual yoga workshop because it was a type of yoga called Kryoga (Kamal's Rhythemic Yoga) which is a combination between martial arts and yoga... so it is a little more fast paced and stilll promotes the wellness of the body, heart and soul...
It was a great session and all the yoga enthusiasts, yoga virgins and yoga's-not-for-mes enjoyed it tremendously.
Turns out that Ace enjoyed himself very much and got along famously with the yoga master as well... master Kamal posed for Ace to take photos.. throughout the lesson, Master Kamal played with Ace, drew together with him and for 2 minutes, passed Ace the microphone and let Ace be our yoga master for the day:)
At the end of our lesson, we asked Master Kamal to perform to yoga poses for us.. Ace watched intently and after the lesson, he kept going up to the Master, hit him in the thigh as a means of saying, "look at me" and started performing the yoga stunts for him! Amazingly, Ace's random dancing and yoga poses are actual yoga poses.. and master Kamal was thrilled to bits with his performance:)
After the lesson, I asked him if he wanted to learn yoga.. "Don't want.. I just like to play with master kamal only..." Hahahaha..
The following monday, when he came back from school, he told us that he went to school and taught his friend Kaylen how to do yoga... and he told me tat his friend Hong Bin does not know what is yoga...
"You can tell Hong Bing it is a type of exercise.."
"I told him already but he still doesn't know what is yoga..." Ace said.
"You can show him how to do it.."
"Ya, I did.. but he still does not know what is yoga..." Ace insisted..
"OK, then you ask him to go home and ask his mummy lor..." And finally Ace was happy tat his problem is solved:)
PS: Master Kamal says that Ace is a very peaceful child even though he was moving none stop throughout the lesson.. the master says that is because children have horse energy...
