Indian Fine Dining At Aangan

We were thinking wat to eat for dinner.. mr gao zeh, this dun want to eat, that dun want to eat.. so we drove round and round the bur dubai area... then leh, decided to park and just walk around the hotel area to see if there is any good food or not.. still, we cannot find any nice food...

Walk and walk.. and then Mr Gao Zeh says he is VERY HUNGRY already... so.. in the end, we just decided to eat at this indian restaurant called Aangan in Dhow Palace Hotel...

Max says he heard it is a good restaurant.. I also din know is considered fine dining wor... cos when we arrived, the restaurant was almost empty!:) So dunno good or not..

Feels as if we have the whole hall to ourselves.. ahaha

They even provide singing lor

Mr Gaozeh is very hungry and gobbled up the papadam very quickly...

Quite exquisite the decor..

While taking photos.. I realized then tat they had won awards from Time Out Magazine for a few consecutive years...

Then the food came!
Grilled mushrooms and potatos... I must say the food tastes quite good:)

ANd the music they play hor, is not bad also leh.. is not like those indian music only.. most of the songs they play sounds like those ballads of the 70s... eg, there was a similar tune to Green Green Grass of Home...  Midway though, there were two ladies joining in and sitting there.. I wondered why.. and found out later they are dancers..

The ball like thing on the left is nice.. is sweet.. which is why max ordered.. the one on the right is brinjal.. very nice:)

Then the dancers started to dance..

I was glad we decided to go there lah.. the food is good.. But maybe I wun come back very often cos is costs almost as much as jap food at Ryo's.. rather eat there lor:) wahahaha..
