It Never Rains But It Pours

As the saying goes, it never rains but it pours... In Chinese, there is an equivalent saying that goes... When your roof has a hole, it will rain...

And this CNY is sort of like that for us.

First Yeye was admitted to hospital and had to go through a major surgery...

Then Laoma fell, broke her hip and was sent to hospital...

Then, Ace Chua had to fall down and hurt himself. Not only did he hurt his arms.. both his knees.. he even had a big blue black on his tummy...

Psychologically, children unconsciously blame themselves for everything that goes wrong with the family. Sometimes, they try to take on some of the pain by having things happen to themselves... for example, they may start to fall sick or may injure themselves...

Ace joined the club by injuring himself BADLY.. I mean he is prone to falls but this is one of the rare times he ended up with scraps on both knees, both arms and even a big blue black on his tummy...

I told him that he can show his love to his grandfather and great grandmother by just visiting them, talking to them and sending them love, don't really need to do so by joining them in their pain.

So next day I brought him to visit laoma...

As he cannot speak dialect well, he just say hello to her and tried to cheer her up by doing a dance..

Laoma was pretty amused and said he cannot do this here because he doesnt stay here (in hospital).. hahahha..

Anyway, Gong gong also joined the club by falling and having a massive blue black on the side of his tummy one night when trying to go to the toilet..

Looks like this year of a goat is really not too good.. cos I noticed so many pple in FB are saying that their family are in hospital!

Hopefully, it will only get better after this!
