So since many years ago,Gongong has been looking forward to a family trip with the entire Peng family together with his grandchildren...but holidays came and went and we were unable to come up with a common date to go on a holiday together. THe problem made extra difficult by the fact that Popo cant take leave during the June holidays cos all her PRC colleagues are taking leave to go home....
And this year, we thought since we are finally back in Singapore, we will try to arrange for a family trip. First step, Popo found out she has a slot at the end of June period to take leave... and so she takes leave... and then Max cannot make it as he will be working... and we thought we just go ahead without him.. but then NetNet also cannot make it... so that means it will be like 3 citizens with 2 kiddos and 2 adults... A little tough in this case... so we decided we will not go for the trip this holiday.
However, since Popo already took leave, we decided we will all go out together. Intially the plan was to go to the Singapore Flyer and then because there were lots of suggestions and alot of ding dong... and gotta factor in the kids, factor in the old folks cannot walk too much cos they have leg pain... factor in we dun have transport.. we decided in the end to go watch a movie and eat something nice at Tampines Mall lor;) And while we are at it... celebrate Ace's birthday at the same time:)
As it turned out, the only movie available that everyone will understand is called Young and Fabulous about some young kids who are into Cosplay... Not exactly something the old folks will enjoy but they are familiar faces and it is in Chinese so everyone... including Ace (i hope) will understand...
Interestingly, Cay said he wanted to sit with Popo and GOr gor... so his mother was more than happy to have them sit apart so she is free to enjoy the movie.. But still, she was still worrying that Cay will notbe able to sit through the whole movie to which i told her.. Cay should have no problem now because he is already a TV KID!:)

Anyway, during the movie, dad kept going to toilet because it was so cold.. in the end he just sat next to the door:) hahahaha...
Also, as Ah Yee was worried about Cay, she will keep turning around to peep at Cay... and when I turned around, I saw THIS...
He literally looked this focus and had this smile on his face throughout the WHOLE MOVIE LOR! Who says he cannot sit through the whole movie! hahahahah... so I think he looks so cute I cannot help but MUST TAKE PICTURE lor!:)
THen it was time for LUnch and we made our way to JPot for lunch...
Ace had fun cooking his own food and making his own sauce...
THis is Ace's soup after he was done.... it looks cloudy now because someone went to add all the funny funny sauce into it.. he insists that it tastes much better now!

Next, we went for ice cream to celebrate Ace's birthday.... at Gelare!

Cay had time of his life eating so much ice cream! But i think the kids enjoyed most.. the adults were mostly quite full and ate only little bit of the ice cream..

THen it was time to go... Popo they all went home and we took a bus to go for play date at Lele's house as requested by Ace.
Wah... happiness for Ace. He had so much fun there playing till he did not want to go home and he declared this is the best birthday ever cos he got to do so many things in one day... I also had such a good time (Aunty KP cooked wonderful dinner for us) that I forgot to take pics..)
