Rebellious Teenager

I have been going out pretty often after work these days...

Went the other day for dinner with Pearls and Alex..

And a few days later, for drinks with Pearls...

I told my friend that I have been going out on weekends till wee hours as well and she asked me "Why are you even more of a rebellious teenager than your teenager?"

LOL... actually quite true leh.. my Ah Zhai is stay at home and never go out one...

I am the one who keeps going out...

Ace went out with S and his parents... (Yes, S's parents will bring S out and bring Ace along from time to time because Ace always went with S to interchange and send him home to make sure he is safe cos he is a few years younger)... sometimes they will go bowling, sometimes go here and there...

MOst of the time go and eat..

THis time round, S's mum bought a present for Ace.. and Ace was so excited about it that he immedately started making this SUSHI sweet set when he arrived home...

He reached home at 12 midnight and still insisted that he wanted to do this... sigh.. boh pian lor.. let him do.. hahahaha..

I dunno how it will taste like..

Me and Liming go way back.. actually, she is more of my sis's friend but over time, we became friends as well and we always arranged to meet up...

But lately it has been a while since we last met up.. she dam effort.. works in AMK.. but travel to Jurong to meet me for a drink after work.. hahaha

The whole night we were talking and laughing away lor... Laughter, like good food, good beer and good company is good for the soul... so I know my soul must be getting better and better ...

Oktoberfest

Our landlord in office organized an Oktoberfest party.. and because the account manager said not many signed up and asked if I could gather my colleagues, I helped to promote it a little in office...

True enough the idea of free food and free beer was well recieved... :)

Me and my taogeh.. and also the orgnaizers..

 We had so much fun and as you can tell, we are great drinkers!

 our company had two groups.. the Legacy J group and the legacy T group... as seen clearly in the two seperate rows of tables.. hahahaa

But at the end of the night.. when everyone realized we are all just fun loving people who can drink well, everyone is happy!

Everyone had alot of fun lah...

Me? Had the most fun...

Drink round 1 liao even went to karoake to round 2. Our colleague who is brit was so high he actually managed to sing chinese song with us.. hahahaahaha...

See, dont say I rebellious teenager, it is just too difficult not to have fun!

But if you asked me, I will say I think I actually feel an urge to go out to have ALOT of fun to make up for me sacrificing having fun by staying at home to take care of my son while the man went out to make money... It's like I just needed to get it out of the system.. I think after some time.. I will get it out of my system and return back to becoming ZHAI NV and stay at home already...

As for my son.. he is very good "parent".. he just asks me where I went... and that is it.. he doesnt say anything else.

But i know that he sometimes feels lonely lah.. he told his tuition teacher that no one is usually at home and that no one cares about him..

While I like to enjoy myself, my son is impt too... so i had a talk with him.. I told him that I wanted to enjoy my life but if he wants me to stay home, he will need ot tell me and also like talk to me when i am at home lah.. if he is just locked up in his room, I really have not much motivation to stay at home also...

So after that whenever we are both at home, he will make effort come out and talk to me for 10-15 min first... Love it that my son is sweet like that..

Is like that one.. boh boyfriend, son grown up.. nothing to do...

So went to play nanny to entertain my niece and nephew... lol

Oh well, better than sit at home and feel very bored lah :)

As for Ace... he is still at his fav hobby... play with this phone while lying on popo bed... lol

Talking Point

We were invited to go present our views on Talking Point.. and in WE... i meant me and Ace. The topic of the day was about how we felt as parents and students about certain levels not having exams anymore.

Actually, I must say that the whole process of filming was difficult for me... Ace was in his bad mood day... and cos i rushed him along as we were late.. he was lagi upset...

When we arrived at the location for filming, he didnt want to talk to me and sat in a corner with a black face.. as parent, i just dam embarrassed... but what can i do.. so i just eat and mingle with other pple and let him black face by himself.

Thank goodness though.. he moved out of the mood after he ate some things and started the interview...

He actually surprised me by saying alot of thing that are things I have always been repeating to him and teaching him...

I am so proud of my son..

 That is us filming our entrance into the show..

 Happy mood liao so having fun AFTER the interview..

All that were involved in filming...

ANyway, it was an interesting experience... I made some interesting observations about the mothers I met also.. lol.. it was somewhat amusing to me
