We have shifted into our new place and needed to fill in some sort of form at the estate office so that we can get our car decal and get all the stuffs done up.
Ace is having his school holidays this week but because we do not have internet, we have been making daily trips back home to Popo's house (where there is internet and I can work...)
I asked Ace to remind me to go to the estate office and he told me that he will write a note and paste it on my door.
I asked him.. "Wah lau, paste on my door for what?"
His reply?
"Because I am boh liao!"
PENGZ!
He actually used the phrase "BOH LIAO" to describe.. wahahahaha..
I tot he say say only... but when we reached home, he really took out a note book, wrote a message and pasted on my bedroom door.. hahaha
Oh well, it was quite useful cos I did manage to remember to go to the office:)

Mid Autumn's Celebration
Since we have been in Dubai and not been able to celebrate mid autumn's festival with our family for a few years, I thought it will be a good idea if the two cousins can go walk walk around the neighbourhood with their lanterns...
Ace received a FROZEN lantern from Shen Shen and it is quite cool lor. Even though it is a paper lantern, inside dun need to put candle. There is some sort of blinking light that can change colour one lor:)
Over the weekend we were in Vietnam so we could not join the RC activities and when the two cousins went to the void deck, we realized that not many children were bringing lanterns around...
Cay's KM bought him a really cute octopus lantern.. it can sing song, light up and even WALK! But because they want to make this lantern got so much pattern, need i think a larger motor or wat.. so the lantern end up very heavy and the legs kept dropping out.. hahaha:)
But maybe because there are not many children around.. we walk a little bit and then the kids wanted to go play in the playground lor:)
AFter they play at the playground for a short while, then time to go home liao...
Though it is a short time.. i hope it sets some sort of family tradition we can follow so that the kids can have beautiful memories in years to come..

Having Fun At The Pool
Just so we can make good use of the pool, we decided the cousins should have a gathering in the pool :)
Ace was really excited and brought along his water guns...
But leh, Ace is too used to playing by himself.. so he literally went around with his googles and played by himself while C basically played with his dad while me and Ah Yee sat there and chit chat :)
Ah Yee noticed we have a water playground.. so she asked me where is the switch.. I told her I also dunno mah:) So she went to explore.. and when she found it and turned it on..
All the children in the big pool ran over as well:) wahahaha..
Ace trying to be funny..
Oh well, I guess it was fun for both boys. When we asked C if he wanted to go swimming again with us at our place, he nodded his head vigorously and when his mum said she is not going and that he has to go with us by himself.. he just walked with us and ignored her:) wahaahaha
Hopefully as C gets older, the boys can learn to play together more.

Shu Shu Wedding In Vietnam (Part 2)
大天来了!
The big day has arrived and it is time for Shushu's wedding ceremony in Vietnam..
It is lucky for us that we get a chance to see another country's wedding customs. These are the dowry gifts you have to bring along when the groom goes pick up the bride... Fruits lah.. candles, jewelry, and a suckling pig:) haha
Our prince looking grumpy cos he slept too late the night before and woke too early.. hahaha:)
As they needed the same amount of "brothers" and "sisters", and some of the people said they will help fly aeroplane, both Ace and Max had to take up the role lor:) hahahaha...
Yeye says Ace very handsome like this and they should take photo together:)
Then it is time to go!:) Ace was seated next to his new best friend, WX gor gor who asked him alot of questions about school in Singapore vs school in Dubai. I think WX gor gor really very patient lor!:) wahaha
The wedding car... so cute:)
Ace holding the candles carefully...
Then the brothers have to hand over the gifts to the sisters..
Then we went up to the room where the ceremony is to be held. They then take out the dowry money and lay it out like a fan like tat... Then everyone had to talk a little bit to announce what is happening next and say wat they have to say...
And finally bride comes out:)
Then MIL have to help bride put on the 4 dot gold. Actually hor, apparently usually the in laws won't come along. Our case is just cos we are there for a trip and since everyone go, both parents also go along.. as it will make the whole procession even more grand..
THen time to exchange rings lor:)
And time for tea ceremony..
Actually very interesting to me.. apparently in vietnam, when you jing cha.. they will give the bride something and give the groom something too. Usually it is a ring.. so they have so many rings on their hands at the end of the tea session!:) wahahaha
The display so cute hor.. made of fruits.. and so pretty..
Ace tried to entertain himself by playing with the gua zi.. hahaa
Then there was a meal being provided with the last dish being some sort of steamboat chicken soup...
Meanwhile bride and groom having fun with the jie mei:) wahahaha
After that, we all went back to the hotel to rest and then it was time for the wedding dinner...
When I arrived at the venue.. I was shocked.. i thought how come so many wedding couples on this day.. only to realize that these are the welcome party provided by the venue:) hahahaha..
Apparently this is a high class venue/club that is used specially for holding wedding and special occasions.
Outside the room, they even have a special place for you to take photos lor..
Nainai checking her phone while waiting for dinner to start:)
And then the lights are off...
And there is some sort of dance performance as opening ceremony..
That ended with the bride and groom coming in..
The MC so chio right:) hahah
Then they have to light candles in front of this two huge rings...
And cut the cake..
And then pour champagne... the glass below got lights and they put something in the glass so that as you pour the champagne, the glass will change colour...
Our good friend yiao dio and cannot wait for the food to come:) wahahaha
During the eating time, they have live band that provides karaoke too.. got this uncle kept going up to sing.. and then people even put money in flower for him.. but actually, his singing was not very good:) wahahahaha
Time to say goodbye.
On the way back ot hotel.. saw this.. din know Popo also have business here ah:) wahahaha
