You Only Hugged Me 3 Times!
Usually early in the morning, before Max goes to work, we will chat a little.
Today, he asked me if I noticed that Ace was a little out of sorts yesterday.
"No leh.. yesterday ah? Yesterday was the day where I nagged him the whole day.. so maybe he is upset about that lor.." He had ting xie the next day and had some homework to do. And need to practice guitar.. But still, he dilly and dally.. so I nagged nagged nagged....
"No, I went to talk to him before his bedtime and he told me that he is unhappy because he keeps getting scolded in school... but he says things are better now but he still gets scolded.... And he complained how P4 work is very difficult... He even said he felt like killing himself and dying... I don't understand why teachers here like to scold children all the time..."
"Wah, got so serious or not?" I asked Max. But knowing Ace is a drama king, I also discounted a little lah.. I told max things are different here lah.... even in Dubai, there were teachers who kept scolding children all the time too. Too bad our son is that type of like to do what he likes and have little situational awareness one.. of cos will kenna scolding lor :) Only thing we can do is pray he has humanistic teachers who understand him and will work with what he has and educate him well.
Anyway, I told Max I will follow up and talk to Ace about that.
So today, while we were walking home after guitar lesson, I told him his dad told me what they discussed before bedtime.. I asked him for more details.
So he said he was scolded but things are getting better now... so that he can handle. He was really really upset yesterday because me and his dad can relax there and watch video together while he had to continue to study..
And then I reminded him that we finished our work. He did not finish his work mah.. and i early early ask him to do liao.. and then he ownself dilly dally...
"Ah. see see.. scold me again..."
I told him I am not scolding him. I am just explaining why the thing he was complaining about happened.
And he told me he was really upset.. so upset he felt that he should just kill himself.
But i told him this is really a very small problem and not worth getting killed over..
And then leh, I asked him why he was so bothered about that.. then he zoomed in on the REAL PROBLEM...
"Do you know, mummy... yesterday, you only hugged me 3 times! Only 3 times!!!!"
Wahahahaahhaah... tat really surprised me:)
I told Ace, "I hear what you are saying and will try to hug you more 0kay.. BUT also please do not downplay what I have done for you leh... You know I hugged you three times. you go and ask around in your school.. how many mothers hug their children three times or more a day? Also, every morning I will hug you till you wake..you so lucky to be woken up by hugs leh.. still complain. If you want to complain about this and do not appreciate what I have already given you.. then hor, no matter what I do or give you, you also will think it is not enough."
So I made it a point to hug him a little more today lah..
He is indeed a HUGGY KISSY MONSTER!:)
Anyway, Ace told me today that he has been made math monitor. I asked him how they were chosen, he said you volunteered and a few people volunteered and the teacher chose him.
I asked him why the teacher chose him and he said he did not know...
I asked if they choose based on results or behaviour...
"Math monitor hor.. has to make sure everyone cannot talk.. if people talk, he will get into trouble.."
"Or maybe.. Mr H chose you because you are the most talkative?" I teased him.. and he gave me dagger stares.. wahahaha:)
Anyway, Ace is mighty happy that he is monitor. But all for the wrong reasons.. he says being a monitor gives him more power. He can now baotoh more people and tell the teacher if anyone bullies him. Because he is math monitor, the teacher will listen to him. Sigh.. I think I police him too much till he likes to police other pple..
PS: I really did make an effort to hug him more and so next day morning, I asked him if i hugged him enough.. "Yeah, hug enough.. but you havent made up for the day before yesterday and the day before before yesterday.." he said with a cheeky grin.. Humtum him then he know ah.. cheeky boy. hahaa:)
Previous Post:Mont Blanc Pen
Mont Blanc Pen
Ace brought home a mont blanc pen today and very proudly told me, "Mummy, I got mont blanc pen!!!"
Apparently, his friend lent it to him for one day... He asked Ace to bring home n bring it back tomorrow.. Cos today he is going to buy PSP and the PSP very heavy.. So is the pen.. So his brilliant idea is to lend it to his friend to make is bag lighter...
I explained to Ace that I know he is trying to help his friend but in future, please do not bring back his friend's expensive stuff as if it is gone or broken in his care, who is going to be responsible? Also, I told him as the pen is very expensive, I think will be a good idea to tell his teacher.
I asked if he is ok if I told his teacher and he agreed.
so I dropped his teacher a message and told him FYI becos the pen is expensive.
His teacher laughed it off and said.. sometimes he also dun understand what the children are thinking:) wahahaha..
Anyway, why do kids need expensive, branded pens? When i posted on my fb.. my friends say maybe use branded pen can score full marks:) wahahahaha :)
His teacher said on a side note, Ace was trying to recall his ting xie words and couldnt and started using his hand to hit is head..
"As he was hitting hard, I asked him to stop.." His teacher said. I thanked him for that and told him Ace does that sometimes..
I then told Ace that maybe a better strategy is to breathe in and out and then chant in his heart to ask for inspiration :)

A Bad Week In School
![]() |
| Chase the blues away with some colorful ice creams!:) hehe.. Special treat from Godma Annie for Ace. |
Since Max was out, me and Ace decided we will go out for dinner together..
During dinner we were chatting and Ace told me that he had a bad week in school.
"Mummy, last time you told me that i have good luck and meet good teachers.. but this year, my luck ran out liao.. all my teachers all the told old type and all very fierce one.."
I told him older teachers are more experienced and sometimes, the older teachers are more caring and patient.
"But they are so fierce leh.." Ace continued his complaints with gutso.
"You know hor mummy.. whisper in class will kenna scolding... pass notes to each other.. also kenna.."
"Erm.. Ace, those are things you are NOT supposed to do during lesson time leh.." I reminded him... I think he must be too spoilt by the easy going teachers in Dubai.
"But.. but.. even SHAKE LEG ALSO KENNA!" he exclaimed!
Wahahahahaha... The extra funny thing is I also kenna from my teacher when I was in pri school for things like shaking leg, resting my chin on my palm, crossing my leg the wrong way :) So I totally understand wat he means... haha
But I explained to him that different country and different teachers, different culture lah. Anyway, sometimes, we do not know if a teacher is good or not till a few months later...
I shared with him the story of how when i started JC1, when I first saw my civics tutor, I was like..SIAN.. why she never smile one.. the teacher next class so smiley and happy face...
But few months down the road I learnt to appreciate my teacher cos behind her cool exterior is a really kind and caring heart. Whereas for that smiley teacher, it turned out that her nickname is called XIAO LI CANG DAO.. go figure:)
And then Ace went on to complain that his teachers, especially the math teacher speaks very broken english... I told him sometimes some older teachers may not be well versed in language and that is why they speak broken english...
The good news though.. is that a few days later, Ace said he realized that the math teacher he had was actually just a temporary teacher and that his real teacher for math classes is Mr H who is younger and alot more fun. He tells them jokes and also told them if they collect 5 stars for good work, they get a prize... Just that Mr H is also very fierce.
I told him not bad mah.. he has Mr H for math, and then his Chinese teacher is still Mr X who is also very funny and strict. His form teacher is not too bad so far as well ;) So I guess he is STILL lucky and still got to meet GREAT teachers.
Anyway, Ace came home with Mr X's number and I added it to my phone. The other day, I decided to message Mr X and ask him what I could do to help Ace improve since he was Ace's Chinese teacher last year too.
Mr X says that Ace picks up rather fast but still has some problems expressing himself fully in mandarin, so he advised me not to get Ace started on assessment books first and just work on more exposure like letting him watch chinese drama, read chinese books etc.
Looks like Ace's week isn't all that bad after all ;)

Blur Sotong Ace
Thanks to my blur sotong son, I had to spend close to an hour walking to and fro from hm to school 3 times today!!!!
Usually, Ace will walk home half the way and I will pick him up nearer to home. But as I had to drop him off at Popo house today, I told him I will pick him up. The day before, I aready reminded him that I am picking him up.. In the morning when I sent him to school, I also reminded him that I am going to pick him up...
But leh, Mr Blur Sotong plain forgot our agreement and happily go buy ice cream with his friends. On top of that, he forgot to bring his phone and so was uncontactable...
I reached his school and waited for 10-15 minutes... till students stopped coming out of the classrooms.. I also saw a boy whom I recognize as Ace's classmate... so I thought Ace is probably dismissed already. The only conclusion then is that our good friend must have forgotten n gone home... so I tried to walk home.. hoping he will remember and turn around.
Alas, by the time I reached hm..he was not there.. I thought then he might still be in school if I did not see him along the whole way. So I called his school and asked if the teacher could help me search for Ace.
Just as I was planning what my next step might be, I looked out the balcony and saw Ace walking towards his school. I shouted out to him but he did not hear me and so I quickly called his school again to ask them to stop him if they should see him.. and to keep him in school so that I can go fetch him..
So I quickly walked back to school. I wondered if I should take cab but remembered how Max said it is not necessarily faster and also, I was afraid he may walk back towards home as well...
As I was crossing the overhead bridge, I saw Ace crying by himself.
After asking if he was ok.. I started screaming at him.. we promised to meet in school.. why was he not in school...
"Did you know how worried I was when i could not find you?"
I almost wanted to cry from the relief of finding him...
But leh, guess why our good friend did not meet me at the appointed place..
Apparently, despite so many reminders, our good friend STILL forgot that he is supposed to wait for me to pick him up. Not only that, other than forgetting, he did not go on his way as per normal or he would likely have met me or I would have seen him...
Turns out that he went out by a different school gate to buy ice cream and because his friend asked him to help them buy.. he waited for long time for uncle to fulfill the order.. that is why i did not see him in school, nor did I see him on my way when I traced my footsteps back home...
After he bought his ice cream.. then he slowly walked home and then he realized halfway that he was supposed to wait for me in school.. so he turned around and walk back to shchool...and when he reached school, he did not GO INSIDE the school.. he just stood at the gate and wait.. but he waited for some time and couldnt see me.. so he teacherfs cannot tell him that I am coming.. and he also wouldnt have seen me since I was trying to walk back to school during that time..
And then he decided to try to walk back home again.... previously, he was bz looking out for me.. so he said he did not cry.. when he tried to walk back home.. he gave up trying to look for me.. so he started crying cos all other thoughts came in and he wondered if I was dead.. cos I told him I will sure go fetch him unless I am dead..
"But then I think.. if you are dead, policeman will come for me mah.. but no policeman leh..." He said..
And then he started worrying that he cannot see me ever again.. so he cried lor..
Anyway, after long scolding then he remembered to say sorry to me.. sigh.. silly boy... We made up before I dropped him off at my mum's place with a hug and I went on my way.
I told Max about what happened afterward and he luff at me.. say our son has the same low level of awareness like me.. taht is why like tat..
But well, one good thing that came out of this is that we have agreed on some rules about what we will do in case this happens again and Ace also learnt his lesson to always bring his phone to school.
Later in the evening, while we were having dinner, Ace said to me me.. "Mummy..I learnt my lesson already..."
"So what was the lesson you learnt.." I asked him..
"Next time I will buy ice cream quickly! Hahahahaha" he replied with a cheeky grin.. PENGZ!

Roses Are Red
Max 心血来潮 and decided that we shall go to Pepperoni for dinner:)
While seated and waiting for our food, we were sharing with Ace a little more about table etiquette. How to put your knife and fork when you are done with your meal and what it means if you put your knife in the middle of your fork after you are done with your meal... (Do you know what it means? I learnt that it means you are saying: "The food was terrible...thanks but no thanks..")
So after we had our meal and were waiting abit for Max to finish his beer...
Max noticed that the napkins were in red colour and asked Ace if he wanted to learn a cool trick for when he wants to chase after girls:)
You see, the backstory of this is that Max and I "met" when he was doing a course in UK and I was happily working in Singapore. So while he was there, my bestie hooked us up online and then we started writing to each other via emails.
A little later when we started getting interested in each other, we started posting each other stuff.. he posted me pictures of him... and I posted him a mixed tape (ok, in those days already is mixed CD).
One of the things he posted to me were paper roses made using napkins that someone in a pub taught him how to do.
When I recieved the roses, I was really happy.. But he was really upset cos he wrote poems inside the individual napkins and well expected me to open them.
But being a girl and not of an engineering mindset (to tear things apart and explore them), I merely placed them as they are together and admired them.. wahahaha:) So I never read the poems and never mentioned anything when we talked over the phone ;) Wahahaha..
There.. done!:)
Master did a good one and the disciple... did a not too bad one...
Or so we thought.. until the flower started drooping cos Ace did not "wind" the stem tight enough..
Hopefully he will still remember how to do this when he is of age to find girlfriends:) Wahahahaha....

All About Ace
Ace says there is like a Form Teacher Period where their form teacher or co-form teacher will go through stuff and try to get to know them better.
He said his teacher asked them to do a piece of homework to draw out and talk about the things that they like... strangely though, after they draw already, the teacher did not collect it to go through... Ace was a little disappointed about that.. and I think I am too ;) I would imagine that Ms R and Ms OD in Horizon School will really take the effort to go through them and get to know each and every child.
But of course I understand that Ms R and Ms OD only have 25-27 kids in their class as opposed to the sgp teacher's class of 40... lso, Ms R and Ms OD are in a school with no homework policy.. so there is alot less marking to do. So maybe that is why they do not really have time to do that...
Nevermind lah.. so I take photo of it and put here for people who do care to admire lor:) wahahahaha
Ace says he has three BFFs in his class. He reminded me to blur off their names to protect them.. wahahahaha ;) Anyway, His three good friends are the former monitor who is prefect this year, this year's monitor and also another student leader in his class. So I guess perhaps Ace is also aspiring to become a student leader of sorts;)
His favourite toys are the Nerf Zombie Strike Cross Bow (which someone gifted to him for christmas. I think he loves it because it is not very common yet), lego (as always) and also Trash Pack (Series 7, no less.. he found out from his friend in Dubai while skyping that the series 7 is already out in Dubai..)
But well, his list always change one..
If you follow this blog, i think it is no surprise that his favorite foods are Chee Cheong Fun and Sushi... Pad Thai is a new addition.
Did I also mention that he now also loves Brinjal as it is associated with his happy memory of eating in Lan Kwai Fong in Dubai?:)
His hobby is playing with Nerf guns in a nerf war with his dad.. and also shopping for toys. Actually I think he forgot to add that he also likes to go bookshop and shop for stationary.
I bring him go buy clothes for CNY, he KPKB niam niam niam.. keep asking when can go home.. but you put him inside a stationary shop like popular.. he can hang around in fascination for an hour even if he doesnt buy anything!:) wahahahaa

Crying Is Not A Good Strategy
And continuing on the topic of Ace being disturbed by his friend..
Ace told me that D is a good friend of his already... Just that he cannot stand how annoying D is... i notice Ace is always attracted to "annoying" people... hahahaha..
Yesterday, I asked Ace if he would like me to drop a note to his teacher to let him change seats if D keeps disturbing him and he said dun need because his monitor said he will help him tell the teacher.
Today, we were chatting about this incident again and Ace gave me more info. Apparently, his monitor said he will help him because our good friend was mighty upset that he cannot finish the math homework because he did not know how to do the last sum..
So by the next period.. he started crying during chinese class to his monitor... "And I remembered that when I cried, I kept saying I am so useless... I am so useless..."
I told Ace what is so useless about not being able to do a homework. That is how we learn.. more important to learn how to do it than say you are useless and then give up thinking that you are useless..cos tat is the least helpful thing you can do in that situation...
Then I also told him.. "Ace, you are going to be 10 soon.. do you really think crying is still the best way to resolve things?"
To my surprise, his dad also chipped in and said, "Yeah, there is nothing wrong with crying of course... but it is really not a good strategy when you are 10 years old..."
And to appeal to Ace's sense of "gor gor ness", I told Ace that since he is coming 10, there are better, more mature strategies he can implement.. cos crying for something or crying to get help is more of a toddler strategy used by toddlers like his cousin C:) Wahahahaha..
Anyway, I asked him how things are today and if D still disturbed him. He said it is ok. His teacher finally realised that Ace finds it hard to concentrate and got him to sit in the front of the class on the floor.
Initially me and Max raised our eyebrows when he said that cos to our minds, it seemed like Ace is being punished... so max asked Ace if he was the only one seated in front... And Ace said yes because there are no tables there..
I did not want Ace to think that is bad and said to Ace, "It is great your teacher is helping you to concentrate..."
And then Ace started telling us about why other people are not seated in front "because they kenna punished and were made to sit in front.. so now they scared... And you know hor, today D also got into trouble for not paying attention... And cos I was in front, I can pay attention."
"So u were being punished? And the person who is not paying attention is not?" His dad asked him.
"No, I am not. My teacher says she ask me to sit in front to help me concentrate. She says it is not a punishment. It is for my own good."
Ok, glad to know Ace just accept it as it is and never think too much:) hahaha... Cos I really did think under normal circumstance, the teacher will punish the one making trouble or ask the person making trouble to sit in front...
PS: Ace was telling me about his best friends in school.. i am glad he is keeping good company. His best friends are... the prefect, the class monitor and his chinese class monitor.. hahaha, Hopefully they will also inspire him to become a better leader and a better student.
PPS: He is now good friends with the boy who sits beside him. In addition, he has a new math teacher and seem to be doing well in math lessons as he told me is is being placed in the high ability group.

It's Too Difficult!
Went to pick Ace today as he has guitar lessons. While we were on our way to guitar class, I asked him how was his day in school and Ace said it was a super bad day today cos he kenna from his math teacher.
According to Ace, he has been placed in a seat beside this boy who likes to talk and do things to distract him. So our good friend is irritated and keeps asking the boy to "stop talking" only to come to a conclusion that if you can't stop them, join them! ;) So he started talking.
When he told me about this supposedly distracting boy yesterday, I already told him HE is the one who decides if he will be disturbed and so he can take it as a chance to practice his skills of concentration.
Today, that boy brought a toy to school and on top of talking , the boy kept using the toy to disturb him. "So I was very distracted..." Ace said. Sigh.... still blaming others man..
Then leh, because the boy kept trying to use the toy to disturb Ace, Ace kept turning to ask him to stop lah.. this and that.. end up, he did not catch the instruction he was given for his math homework...So he was left with this one sum that he cannot complete.
"I can help you later at home.." I told Ace...
"But it is too difficult, it is impossible.. It is very difficult, it cannot be done..." Ace started to become very agitated...
I asked Ace to calm down lah... If i dunno i can ask my friends mah.. P4 work leh.. how difficult can it be right...
When we reached home, Ace took out the "VERY DIFFICULT" math sum to show me. Wah lau.. turns out our good friend never read instruction carefully and made some wrong assumptions.. tat is why cannot do lah...
I reminded Ace that in future, when he is faced with a problem, he needs to stop thinking "It iust too difficult..." cos that phrase is like a closed door that prevents new inspiration from coming in.
So the next time he meets a problem, he should close his eyes, take a deep breath and take out these words and put them aside and then chant to gohonzon for an inspiration... tat will help him find a solution:)
Hope he remembers my words next time he meets a challenge..

An Expensive Lesson
Ace has come to a certain age where he does not like to listen to us all the time and wants to do things his own way.
The other day, we were in the library and he wanted to borrow books. I asked him not to borrow so many.. but he wouldn't listen. With my half half rule, it meant he had to borrow more books to read so many english books.
Then I asked him to borrow using my card as i had a reminder service attached to my account but for some reason, he prefered to borrow using his own card ... I guess it was an exertion of his independence...
But as it was a small thing I told him ok but please remember your due date yourself...
Fast forward to today... and I asked him when are his books due.. he said he did not know.. when I logged in to his account, I realized that his books were due about a week ago!
So because he borrowed MANY books and because it has been so long, he now has to pay a fine of almost $10...
When he found out, Ace cried and cried and cried and cried.. cried so hard like his father and mother died already....
"Alamak, pay fine, pay fine lah.. just learn your lesson and dun do it again, dun need to cry so had lah.." I told him...
And he continued to cry and told me, "But I wasted so much money.. $10 is a large sum of money to me!" (It is actually his one week "income")
And as he continued to cry.. he counted out $10 worth of notes and coins and passed them to me...
"Already told you mah.. use my card.. you dun listen.. now cry also no use..."
Anyway Max says orhbeegood.. this will be a good lesson for him... I think it is an EXPENSIVE lesson.. hahaha...
I shared with Ace later tat I once had to pay a huge fine for library books and that is how I learnt my lesson and why I now subscribe to a reminder service cos I know i am bad in remembering.. and I make sure once I am reminded I will make plans to return the books. So just take it as a lesson lah.
Ace declared though that he is never going to borrow books from the library again. I told him that is plain silly lah.. buying books more ex right:) hahahaha...
I have been attending a Conscious Parenting workshop recently and we learnt that when our children are feeling down, one way to help them is to join them in their emotion and support them to finish feeling the feeling...
Instead of joining him, I let him cry lah.. and then I try to jiang dao li with him and remind him it is better to use my card next time or set up a reminder for his library account as well if he wants to use his card to borrow books..
Then much later afterward then I realized I missed out the chance to practice wat I learnt! But i did feel a little better that I did bond with him and JOIN him by spending some time with him before bedtime.

Nainai's Birthday Party
So happy that we can celebrate Nainai's birthday with her.. I think Max hasnt been able to celebrate his mum's birthday with her for 4, 5 years already.
At least for Yeye's birthday, we usually get to do so since me and Ace will be back for holiday during that period:)
One more crazy photo:) wahahahaha
Usually, Yeye is the one who will play with Ace.. I was a little surprised when Nainai said she wanted to join in.. They put Shushu mini koala bear on the table and use Ace's Nerf Guns and see who can shoot the Koala down more often...
Sometimes if dun have bear, they will use a can.. One day when Ace looks back, perhaps it will be one of the few happy childhood memories he will never forget:)
Dun pray pray... Nainai is a pretty good aim lor!:) Hahaha..

Sporty New Start For 2015
Even though we were back in Singapore, we did not celebrate our New Year in any special way.
I wasn't feeling well so the night before, no countdown for me and I went to bed early. Ace and Max said they saw some fireworks.. hehehe.. not bad leh, not in Dubai also still got fireworks to see... Still remembered how we braved a 3 hour jam to go countdown and see fireworks the year before...
My friends in Dubai say the fireworks this year was not much to shout about and that the weather was rather warm.. nothing like the freezing cold we experienced the previous year...
Anyway, after some rest, I was feeling better.. so Max suggested that we get to a sporty start by visiting the Sports Hub.
He will go for a jog, I will go for a walk and Ace will play with his swing scooter:)
When we arrived, I felt really thankful again to be back in Singapore.. The Sports Hub was really beautiful and I was so thankful to have such a nice place to hang out and play sports in:)
So Ace startedSwing Scooting "Wriggling" along while I try to keep up by walking.. hahahaa...
Looked like we were not the only ones who thought of having a sporty new start:) Ace met L there as he was there to do his roller blading course with his mom.. ;)
The kids had some fun running together and yi yi bu she to go their separate ways.. guess they really had great bonding during our Kota Tinggi Trip and really enjoy spending time together:)

So Ace started

To The Zoo With Le Le (Part 2)
This time round to the zoo, we found this segment that is like a mini rainforest enclosure. I think it is new as I have never been inside at all.. there are so many animals inside.. I think it is the part of the zoo that I enjoyed most:)
Ace had fun walking around CAREFULLY with LL since the there are animals that might suddenly appear :)
Mandarin ducks:)
We could see many beautiful butterflies up close and personal:)
We walked halfway and this bird came out.. Ace and LL held hands and were rather apprehensive about walking past the bird:) wahahahahaha
I guess this is what they call YUAN YANG XI SHUI:)
The racoon was just sitting there and staring at us and maybe wondering what we are doing... :) hahaha
Saw some sleeping bats also..
Saw another butterfly eating watermelon skin:)
After we finished walking we walked through this area that were housing some butterfly pupas in various stage. We were lucky that there was a guide explaining to a group of tourist and I overheard that this si the place where they place the butterflies.. waiting for the chrysalis to happen..
And then even after the butterflies emerges, it has to hang on some surface for some time to wait for its wings to totally dry out before the wings can fly...
Butterfly with crumpled wings..
Warthog or wild boar?
This time round the zebras were all hiding so din get many good pictures of them but i so love watching zebra and their stripes.. so elegant!
Very boh liao.. nothing to do.. wahahaha:)
While the rhino was resting....
His good friend, the bird came and kept him company:)
Did you know there is an animal called Wolverine? It is not merely a name for one of the X-Men!:) Wahahaha.. and they really got claws like the X-Men character!
Can you see the claws?
Inuka the polar bear having a swim...
Sort of finished the zoo and went to the shop as Ace requested while the rest went to toilet and we had a short rest before heading off to the River Safari...
This made me think of our yoga-loving friend, Mag:)
And to River Safari we go!:)
We have to walk through a long maze to get to the Pandas at River Safari.. so walk and see see look look lor..
What a funny-looking fish?
Is this a duck or a fish?
Strange fish that shows off all its teeth...
Funny crocodile with a "nose"...
From this picture, can you tell what the monkey was doing? Too bad my camera was not fast enough.. but this dirty monkey was using his hands to scratch his bum and SMELL his hand after tat.. yuck!!!!
One of my favourite sea creatures.. sting rays.. I can watch them swim forever:)
We are going to see Jia Jia and Kai Kai!:)
The adorable red panda!:)
Their meal plan...
KP told me that Pandas eat lying down.. and I couldnt understand how they can do tat cos so difficult for me to do that.. and then leh, we had the luck to see Panda Kai Kai show us just that!:) Wah.. like so shiok like tat..
Ji shuang yi xia..
Ace having fun in the shop... and after two pics.. I kenna asked to stop cos no photography allowed;)
The famous Panda Bao.. but i din buy lah.. my fren say taste like normal bao and since ace din ask for it.. of cos save money better lah:)
There is a monkey sanctury... where we see alot of mini monkeys.. very cute:)
After such a long walk.. we went to this portion where it is the flooded amazon forest and the fishes that swim there during the period. sit down and rest..
Bye bye panda...
Aiyah, this pic blur.. but actually hor I took it cos the snout of the panda is sala.. they sew upside down and so the mouth is at the top of the nose.. Made the Panda look strange and sad.. I wonder why so obvious.. the pple who put the panda up in display never notice!:) They work there.. dunno how a panda looks like meh?
