Goodbye Pink Shoe

Max bought me this pair of pink sports shoe when he was in Dubai and I was in sgp.. But I dun wear it often because it is narrow and hurts my feet.

But just when I finally found as solution for that, the flap at the bottom dropped out. I tried to fix it back using glue... but it dropped out again.. so bo pian.. have to say goodbye to the show..

Dunno whether I will be able to find another pair of shoes that is so sweet and so bling. Am now looking for a pair of nice black sports shoes... Too bad nice ones beyond my budget and the within my budget one i think not nice and not comfy. Haha..

 Dunno where Ace gets so much extra money siah.. everyday go to his room, see he has some new rubbish..

Found a few soft toys the other day.. he says is he play those grab a toy machine thingy and won them. I told him xiao ding dang is good luck for me and asked him to give me one to put in my bedroom:) hahaha

 Other boh lioa stuff... saw this when we parked our car... who will name their dog crappy! LOL

And I thought Singa Lion already retired;) hahahah...

Popo's Birthday

 It's Popo's Birthday and we arranged to meet up for dinner.

So after dinner, we said we should take a family photo... and I asked Ace to take my phone and go and help popo take photo first..

But at this point, I realized that Cay just naturally walked over to sit with Popo to take photo because you know how after you have a kid at home, anyone's birthday is like their birthday:) haha..

 Ace paused for a while... And Ah Yee also realized this and immediately said, "Ace, go and sit inside, we ask someone else to help to take photo.. you go and sit inside with Popo to take photo with Popo and Cayden..."

And initially, Ace said he did not want to do that... It was a grumpy did not want to cos I could tell he wanted to but just upset since his jealousy was triggered.

I told him,"Hiya, just do it lah.. it is tradition you take with Popo mah.. every year you also do that.." And somehow, something clicked and he said OK.. so he squeezed in for photo lor...

 And of cos we cannot dun have family photo lah:)

So Ace told me the other day that he is very happy.

Apparently, the school helped them take photo in preparation to make their secondary school bus card.

"I don't have to live with that ALIEN photo anymore! Yay!" he exclaimed.

So Cheesy!

So I made baked rice for Ace using this cheese we bought.

Turns out that the cheese packet said they are conducting some contest. Take a photo.. post and then stand a chance to win a trip for family of 4 to Europe! I hope we win!

So I took a pic to take part lah... My son very cute lah.. even came up with tagline for me... "So cheesy.." Cos I added lots of cheese to his baked rice and cos it tasted cheesy.. the way he liked it also.. he thought his pose was rather cheesy... Hahahaha..

I Accidentally...

I have noticed for the longest time.... Whenever Ace wants to tell me about something that he has done which he feels is not right, or not good or feel guilty about, he will tend to use the words "I accidentally..."

For example, for his Chinese Spelling, he scored 99 because he "accidentally" wrote one more stroke for one of the words.

Today, while playing at school, he "accidentally" threw the bottle and it hit his friend and caused his lip to bleed.

When he forgets to bring something, it is always because he "accidentally" forgets to bring it.

Granted, it is true, some of these things happen as accidents. But I feel he mostly uses the word "accidentally" as some way to acquit himself of blame and it is more of a unwillingness to be accountable for one's actions.

So I told him to drop the word OFF his vocab IMMEDIATELY... because as a man, you should always be accountable for your actions. If you forgot.... you forgot. Even if you accidentally forgot to bring something... YOU STILL FORGOT. You still have to be accountable and bear the consequences of what happens because you forgot... just because you gloss over something doesn't mean it becomes better.

I told him outright that for me, I actually feel people who keep saying "accidentally" are people who have not guts to be accountable for actions they undertake and actually seem rather cowardly.

If he did something, just say he did it. Dun always say he "accidentally" do it. Cos while that may be true, it also shows with the repeated use of this word that he does not want to be accountable for his actions.

Today, he came to me and told me he did something accidentally.

I told him to rephrase that and drop the word "accidentally" please... be a man lah! IF you did something, say you did it.. dun add "accidentally" to it.

"Ok ok... I freaking xxx, ok?"

LOL...

Though  I also dun condone him using the word "freaking" (since it actually means 'fucking' but he is told he cannot use the F word) but hey, actually sound better than "accidentally" lor!:)

My Bao Bao

During CNY, I realized that I do not have any decent looking or new looking bag I could carry for CNY... so I thought that I am going to buy a bag.

The baobao seemed versatile and light and I thought abt getting a baobao inspired bag cos the original is way beyond my budget...

While we were in vietnam, I saw lots of stalls selling and so I bought.. TWO;)

Finally got a chance to use them and since I had nothing to do the other day... I decided to take video of how one of my bags could change colour..

I have decided though.. after going shopping for LV bag with my friend, that when I do get back to work, I am going to buy one NICE BAG for myself!:) Hahahaha...  Yes.. branded... And yes, few thousand dollars.

Max dun understand the rationale of ex bags.. But men dun understand tat every woman needs ONE GOOD BAG:) Lol

For now, I have my eyes set on this...the LV Girolta Noir but it is almost 5K sing... slurp...

Model Again

Ace has been modelling since young... Ok is actually he ownself like to pose.. (He actually did informally act as model once for his godma's music school...)

So our friend Justin messaged Max one day and asked if he could borrow Ace to be his model. He started a new football academy and needed a model for his brochure.

Max said OK.

But hor, he forgot that at this age, Ace wants to have a say too..

Ace said he did not want but we told him since Papa already said OK, we have to honor our promise.. and we dragged him along for a haircut.

Then leh, Uncle Justin also underestimate how much Ace has grown since he last saw him.. so he brought along the jersey he wanted Ace to wear but it was a little too small... so end up, Ace had to keep sucking in his tummy!:) LOL LOL LOL...

And happen so Jon Jon gave him soccer boots and so he used them in this shoot:)

Actually I think the pictures are very nice leh.. I dunno why he keep saying dun let pple see these pictures...

Hungry Goldfish

I think my goldfish going crazy with hunger...

Despite the fact that I feed it everyday... whenever it sees me.. this happens...

That being said... the other day, I decided that to DELEGATE and told Ace since the fish actually belongs to him, he should take up responsibility to feed it and he said ok. And so that there is not double feeding, I told him I will stop feeding the fish completely and he will be the only one doing it.. if the fish is hungry.. is cos of him...

First 3 days, he remembered to feed it everday...

4th day onwards... start to forget and need me to remind. Kauz.. heng fish is can hungry one two days also okie one...

Eventually after he forgot consecutively for 4 days, 老妈我看不下去了... so I started feeding the fish again lor. .sigh..

Dunno next time he will forget to feed his own sons or daughters or not:) hahahaha

Ace's New Fav Veg

About a year after Ace declares that Kangkong is his favorite vegetable, and asks to eat Thai food anytie and every time, both me and Max are really glad.. that he finally found another veg that he likes cos to be honest, we are quite sick of eating Thai style bean paste kangkong.. LOL

The other day, we were thinking of just going somewhere nearby for a quick meal and Max suggested going to 85 market. And so we ordered our usual favorites... cai tow kuay, char kway tiao, porridge and to make it a little more healthy, Max ordered two plates of veggies from the zi char stall...

One his his favorite chou dou.. the other one is stir fried baby kailan... and as it turned out.. Ace loves the baby Kailan!

Yay! now we have chance to eat OTHER veggies liao!

But Ace says Kangkong is still his 最爱....

Max had to go to work early the other day...

And too bad for Ace, it was a rainy day.. and it was raining super heavily... So I asked him to use his raincoat lah...

This raincoat from Aunty Jackie is DA BEST:) It can cover whole of Ace.. and even his schoolbag.. :)

But then it meant his back view looks like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles lor!:) LOL
