Ace's 5th Birthday Celebration Pt 4 (@Kinderland)

Well, about 6 months ago, Ace already informed me that he wants to celebrate his birthday in school and he requested that I have to buy a big transformer cake and that I have to buy goody bags for his friends.

So for the longest time, I racked my brains about how to get him a transformer cake... because msot of the transformer cakes I saw are those printed ones... where they print alot of COLOURS on some sort of sugar icing layer... so to me, thes type of cake is totally UNHEALTHY!

I thought and thought about it for a long while, I finally came up with an ingenious idea to buy a decorate yourself cake and then put his mac donalds transformer on it and leave the rest of the space for the kids to decorate.

However, because of the toy story that he watched, he then requested for a Buzz Lightyear cake and after thinking long and hard, I came up with the idea of usinga laminated Buzz Lightyear picture together with a decorate yourself cake from Icing Room. The end result is buzz lightyear runningon a pile of colourful shit.. hahahahahahhaha....

Anyway, I am glad everyone enjoyed themselves. Ace's classmates loved the cake and the activity so much that they asked me, "Ace mummy, next year Ace's birthday, can you do this again?"

However, when I asked him later, he said he still thinks the Buzz Lightyear cake from Swensens looks nicer...

PS: The girl in white t shirt and pink skirt with long hair is Tanya, the girl tat Ace wants to marry! :) ahaha

Ace's 5th Birthday Celebration Pt 3 (With Jo, Michael and Steff)

Ace is so blessed and like I always said, he is a very abundant baby/boy...

The other day, I was passing something to Jo and brought him along.. so Jo was just casually asking me, "Sister, want to have dinner together on thursday?"

And since Ace was there as well, she turned around and asked him, "Ace, do you want to have dinner with us as well?"

And his eyes lit up and he shyly smile at her and said, "Yes..."

After that Jo smsed me and asked me what Ace would like for present cos they said since his birthday is the next day, Jo and Michael wanted to buy him a present. So I told her that he likes transformer and buzz lightyear...

And then eventually, it became a birthday celebration with Steff joining in and bringing one more present from Eileen and also a cute cake with three tigers.

Ace was so happy ... cos Michael also treated him to ice cream.. and we even went gai gai a little after that.

Anyway, I am very thankful to these friends for their kind thoughts and gestures. I was quite worried how Ace would feel or be like since his dad is not around to celebrate his birthday with him... Because they were willing to make time and effort to come despite being super bz and were giving Ace really nice presents, it really brightened up Ace's day and made it much easier for me and Ace as well! Thanks, brother and sisters!

Ace 5th BD Celebration Pt 2 (With Yeye, Nainai and Shushu)

Round two of the celebrations took place at Yeye's house.

Before we went there though, Ace asked me if he could get the present I bought for him and play with it and after the big lizard scare, he was happily playing with it.


I think Ace was slightly dissappointed that the present robot that he got is not a transformer. Nevertheless, he was quite amazed by it. In fact, I think he was little scared when the robot started shooting bullets out of the mouth.


Anyway, when we finally finished eating everything, Ace wanted to eat the Father's Day muffins we made and so he FORCED Yeye to eat together with him :) hahaha....naturally, anything tat Ace makes, Yeye says, "好吃!"


Anyway, before we were due to go home, Shushu said that Diana jie jie wanted to talk to Ace.. so he called her and let them talk. The next day then I realized that Diana actually asked Ace what he received for his birthday and what he wanted and Ace asked her if she could buy him a buzz lightyear... (Yes, buzz lightyear again...)


Hai... I wonder when he is going to grow out of this phase.. but anyway, as of now, he has a buzz lightyear kickass toy, buzz lightyear tat can talk figurine and a buzz lightyear pencil case.. all courtesy of our good friends who love him so... thanks, brothers and sisters!

Luckily, Ganma Seokling had hindsight to buy him a Mr Potato Head 2 yrs ago and he never bug me for it.. instead he has been taking it out and playing with it quite often.. hahahaah.... Thanks again, Ganma Seokling!
