You're Beautiful!

As mentioned, other people's 3 year olds will be singing some nursery rhyme or children's songs...

My son? Well, he is well versed in the world of pop songs... After that BUTTERFLY song... he has now even picked up some other songs like Mr Vain... Barbie Girl... and his current favourite is THIS:



I am amazed he can remember so much of the song.... and if you listen to him carefully, you will notice that he only sings the parts and words he has been exposed to but those he has not been exposed to he just cannot relate and pick up..

Speaking of this, I just made a discovery a few weeks ago... did you know tat children who have never been exposed to certain words and their meanings and stuff will not pick up those words even when they hear them?

Ace watches In The Night Garden everyday... so the last part when Iggle Piggle is supposed to sleep, he will run around the garden and someone will ask, "Who is not in bed?"

But somehow, everytime Ace hears this, he will tell me, "Who is a noti boy?" and he is just trying to repeat what he heard...

Isn't it funny and interesting? I guess we dun use the phrase "who is not in bed" as often as the phrase "naughty boy"... haha..
