Drinking Session

Havent met up with Jez and Yiin in a long long time so we arranged to do dinner.. since we were at a place with beer.. of cos need to drink a little... hee hee..

But after drinking one round like still not enough.... so i invited Jez to my house to round 2....

Because we were drinking Rose, i asked if Ace wanted to try a little. He was allowed one sip...

He liked it...

And then after, he said he has bubbly sake and jio me for round 3 after Jez went home.

I told him he can only drink a small cup.. i drink the rest...

I was amused that my son likes to drink and I posted a pic of him drinking and mentioned something like it was round 3 of drinking with Ace...

When I woke the next day, my penpal and his wife W and LW were so worried and frantically messaging me over messenger asking me if i were ok.. they thought I was depressed and went drinking for 3 rounds with Ace.. hahahahaha...

It's funny and I am just glad I am well loved.. even people all the way at the other side of the love are worried about me:)

But I am ok.. I am a brave strong girl:) Nothing can get me down...

Mother And Son Date At Chilli's

One a month or once every two months, I make it a point to do a Mother and Son date with Ace and we will go somewhere nice to eat some nice food and do something together.

During these times, I am most happy when Ace runs out of battery on his phone cos we really get to talk:) hahaha..

So we made plans to visit his favorite restaurant Chilli's... but it turned out to be our last visit there cos shortly after, they closed the restaurant totally!

So first we took a long walk from Harbour Front to Sentosa by foot...

We saw some pasar malam outside the restaurant and Ace was fascinated with these bananas... hahahahaha...

But i reminded him we have NO SPACE at home liao..

 His fav .. Texas Cheese Poppers... I am figuring will I be able to make this at home.. After googling... i  decided it is just TOO MUCH WORK... lol..

 We over estimated ourselves.. should have ordered less.. the food here looks like it is very little but is super filling!

After that, we walked back to Habour Front to watch movie of his choice.. no prizes for guessing PIKACHU okie... lol..

Very simple show with simple storyline

I always feel like waste my time and money... BUT.. as long as the boy loves it..

After that, we realized GOdma Annie is nearby and even went to have tea with her...

Fancy A $500 Haircut?

At the invitation of  a friend, I had a chance to meet hair maestro, Kim Robinson... yes the one who does $500 haircuts for Sandy Lum.

You were invited to send in a photo so he could do a cut for you as demo and I sent in my photo.... all my colleagues were excited on my behalf cos they were planning for how once I got a cut, I will look dam chio and then I will meet the man of my dreams and then get married and live happily ever after! hahahaahhaha.... I thank them for their concern cos I think they think very much in advance on my behalf and i think my mum is not as worried about whether I will get married again...

But I wasnt selected.. still i had fun there.... the master taught us the importance of having a haircut that suits your face and told me he loved my edgy hairdo.. though it was goriwng out..

I brought two of my colleagues along and we all had a good time together..

I even met some long lost friends there...

 He looks dam young for a man in his 70s.. he attributed it to eating dinner only 3 times a week.. the other 4 times he eats a handful of almonds..

Kim was really generous and even gave us free haircuts by top stylists in his salon...

And here is my few hundred dollar cut... which I did as per below on another day... We even had to go back 10 days later for a hair check...

And since it was weekend, after this, I even made plans to go dancing with J again.. But we ended up just drinking cos my JCI bros jio me as they were nearby... LOL

What to do.. just difficult to not go out when you are popular... hahahaaha

Tea At Pollen Gardens By The Bay

My friends suggested an atas high tea together... and since I am very free... why not... hahahaha

I have never been to this place but was told the food is good.. since is nice place, i decided to dress up nicely...

Even got buggy come bring us to the cafe one... atas, I like!

I think when I am attached, I will bring my True Love here... hahaha..

 Not only is the place beautiful, the food loooks pretty and tastes good too!

And to my surprise, because this is located inside the Flower Dome of Gardens By The Bay, we actually get to walk around inside the dome after our meal!

And this tea session holds a special place in my post divorce journey..

When we were walking back to MRT, my friend, Juanz, had this to share with me.. she said during a workshop she attended, the trainers told one participant that if they met the RIGHT person, there is no need to fear tat your child will not accept them because they will know... and if they know he or she is sincere to you and makes you happy, they will naturally accept you granted there are no other interfereing factors.... that is because your child wants to see you happy....

That is the one thing they want most.. and so she assured me to keep dating and dont be afraid of feel small just because I am divorced... cos I am worthy of a good life too. It was so encouraging for me to hear her say that. Especially she shared her own experience of dating a divorcee with a child.

PS: About two years later, I was happily attached for about 6 months when I had a talk with Ace and I asked him what he thought of my boyfriend and he said he was ok. I asked him how many points out of 10 will he give him... he said he will give him 8 points... for taking such good care of me... I asked him why short of two points.. he said.. one point because there there must always be room for improvement.. and another one point is because he hasnt married me... LOL... Awesome son I have..
