Burger Joint

So Max was away in Bali for work for more than a week and Ace was going to a birthday party that will be ending at 9pm and so after we dropped him off, we decided to go out and chillax somewhere:)

Decided to wear the pink shoes Max bought for me in Bali.. he says it is to replace my favorite pink Teva that already RIP some time back...

Max decided to bring me to this place called Burger Joint which sells both burgers and craft beer...

They have these little cups for you to try out the beer.. so cute hor:)

Then after you decide which one you like..you can order a full pint..:)

Not bad.. got pokestop and can catch Pokemon.. but only got mostly birds:) hahahah

THen I noticed the Bartender, whose name is Fire, doing something strange... he is sawing ICE!

Apparently they are making special ice cubes for their drinks.. due to space constraint, they will buy blocks of special ice made from special water and frozen in a special way so it is totally clear and see through and then slowly hack it into small blocks...

When we asked Fire if he was sure it was some special water... He replied with a grin that given he has spent so much time doing this.. this better dun be NEWATER:) hahahaha

Pro at work..

Cute.. but when I ordered their very expensive burger... Not fantastic. I was expecting Teddy's Burger standards but sorely disappointed....

Because Fire was working so hard.. we thought we should show some support and order a drink with this special ice.....

But well I must say it is just a fade leh... the ice kind of made it very difficult to drink from the cup..

We even met one of Max's friends there.. they were doing a Mac Cullen Run... It is some beer run... so the idea is like this.. you are going to run one round about 5km like tat.. 2.5km mark there is a beer pit stop... (at Burger Joint) and then you continue running after your beer break.. and at 5km.. which ends at the pub organising the run, you have a mini party and more beer...

I cannot understand how pple can run after beer-ing!:) hahahaha

After that, one of Max's frens, Andy, joined us... and we decided to go somewhere else...





Andy was actually here to pass Max that cap he is wearing... It is a special cap made by one of his batch boys from the Navy.. they were celebrating some sort of anniversary for their ship and this nice chap made everyone a customized cap complete with name and ship logo!

Found  out that Andy..and this young man who works at the Freehouse Bar are all into Pokemon Go! Andy even put a lure so we had things to catch.... hahaha

Must be fair, take photo with A must also take photo with B mah...

Then it was time to pick Ace and go home...

I told Max though that since so many people joined in.. this is not considered a date.. so he still owes me a date... and my request for it is that it has to be romantic like walk along the beach type, must hold my hands.. and MOST IMPORTANTLY, NO ALCOHOL!:) hahahaha..

Meanwhile, Ace had lots of fun at Weien's party... he discovered that frozen grapes are really yummy and asked if we can buy grapes to freeze and eat in future:) hahaha
