Gado Gado

When we visited Laoma the other day, Aunty S, was making Gado Gado..

Ace says he wants to learn and wants to help... so he helped a little here and there and had fun in the kitchen..

The boys tried to crush the fried peanuts to make the gado gado sauce... It is not as easy as it looks lor...

Initially I thought just water cook all the ingredients.. not very difficult mah...

But turns out that the sauce is not that easy to make...

Need to use this special "equipment" that aunty S brought from her hometown to make...

But what takes her 5 minutes... took the boys 15 minutes:) wahahahaha

And afterwards.. Ace complained that his hands are very painful:)

This is the end result:)

Is quite tasty but poor Ace din get to taste it because it is too spicy for him..
