When I visited Ace's school, I found out they are one of the oldest schools in Singapore and Ace told me that because the school is turning 80 next year, they will be holding a carnival called YN80....
I was wondering how the carnival will be like and if it will be pretty similar to say.. maybe the International Day carnivals we had in Dubai :)
Turns out that that carnival is pretty fun too:)
Ace's class was in charge of one booth but he was lucky he was back up... so he just needed to go and have fun:)
We gave him $20 to buy tickets but he said he wanted to save the other $10 and just spend $10 on tickets (because he is currently very "poor" as he has given all the cash he has saved in these months to his dad to pay for his NAVY GShock...)
Ace went to support his class...
Throw the ball and hit the standing rolls... he won some sweets...
And then he saw this police booth.. nowadays mata very pai tan.. have to come set up booth in school carnival too..
They make you do a puzzle.. and then give you a gift for it... So Ace die die want to queue to do it...
While Max started working on his mobile by the side..
Actually hor, the policeman gave me free towel though I was just waiting for Ace:) wahahaha...
Only diff was that Ace got to choose wat colour towel he gets..
There were lots of craft on sale as well..
This is how the stall for Ace's class looks like..
There was also some soccer game booth...
And then I noticed this booth which is similar to the MInute To Win It game show we saw on TV... But someone obviously forgot to SPELL CHECK their sign!!:) wahahaha
There were many other booths like throw the ball into the clown... or some sort of shooting game (where I did not take picture).. the shooting games used nerf guns and inspired Ace to request for a particular type of Nerf Gun for his christmas pressie... sigh... gun bag also no space liao lor!
The game that caught my eye is this.. can you guess wat they are doing????
Eraser dust competition.. see who can rub the longest eraser dust! IDEA right? Like tat also can!
The science club even made coffee compost for sale too..
They had thing where every game you played you get a chop. Every 5 chops you can get a spin on the wheel of fortune and win prizes.. Ace won a girly pin he said he wants to give to his godsister..
And he was short of one chop to do one more spin... and so he said he wanted to go buy the tickets with the $10 he was intending to save.. BUT they ran out of tickets for sale! Wahahaha...
So looks like even the heavens is encouraging him to save money:)
Anyway, I met one of my JC classmates there and had quite a catch up session :) It's a small small world indeed! ;)
