Ace's godsister was celebrating her birthday with a small party and Ace was invited.. Because Max was working, we went there by Taxi... and Ace spent so much time playing with the tablet in Popo house that by the time he got into the cab, he was so tried and fell asleep in my lap..
When Ace arrived there, I think he felt a little out of place because the place was filled with toddlers!:) He was like one of the oldest kids... so when the magician started his show and gathered all the children to the front, instead of sitting down, he sat at a chair NEAR the children....
And later, when a boy who was 2-3 years younger than him arrived, he sat next to Ace and the older kids just naturally banded together...
And throughout the magic tricks, the two boys had fun talking about how the magician did it and what prop or trick he used....
The magician was of course not about tricks for toddlers:) hahahahah... Other than the usual flowers of the hat, colouring book has colour by itself sort of trick, he also had something new... he fit himself into a balloon and did tricks inside the balloon... that had Ace wondering how he did that....
Another impressive thing about this magician was that he made excellent balloons. Usually, we will see people make dogs and flower bracelets... BUT this guy could made Princess SOFIA, ELSA, octupuses, swinging monkeys, goldfishes, butterflies.. and most of what he made had attachments to it so you can hold it like a lantern... and they came with eye stickers too:) which made them look even more real..
And the best part is the kids got to ask for what they want...
But hor, of all the amazing baloons that the man can make... my son asked for....... A SWORD AND A GUN.. which he can even make by himself lor!:) hahahahaha
And he has so much fun with it!:)
He got tired of his balloon gun and took out his nerf to shoot at his friend's octopus:)
hahaah..
Then it was photo time and we had such a difficult time getting the kids to pose... the younger ones were running about so the older ones started fighting each other with their balloons and then when the older ones finally posed still.. the younger ones got impatient and walked away! hahahaha
Time for the cake cutting and they were all standing around waiting for the cake...
And Ace lie down and said..."Look, I am a cake!" Hahahahaha....

And then time to to pinata... teh pinata is all inside balloon.... and Ace helped to hold it up and when they asked if everyone had done it, to my surprise, Ace said.. "I havent done it.." And only kam wan when he hit it...
ANyway, the balloon only broke after everyone had a go with it and then the magician pricked the balloon open:) hahaha
Ace had quite alot of fun though I must say and once and again, I marvel at his ability to play and hang out with people of all ages!:)
Anyway, that's Phoebe giving the "OMG" look with her present when she opened it up:)
