Been asking Ace to pack his room for a long long time... But leh, he just find it a chore.. In the end, his room just got messier and messier...

Finally, he packed it and made it somewhat neat...

I think he is also happy with it.. cos he posed happily... LOL

 Not the neatest but at least better than that DUMP

While we are at it.. I packed the house too..

Years ago, me and my colleagues in Mediacorp.. (Actually only Siew Ying I think :) ) took a series of XMEN inspired photos...

We were just goofing around lah... so SY stuffed white tissue into her specs and we took tat photo and named it STORM... and then put pens and pencils in between our fingers to be WOLVERINE:) hahahaha...

I always think fondly of those boh liao moments and told Ace about it some time back.

Always a hassle to clean these guys and their surrounding area up.. Decided it is easier if they all squeezed into one house... I guess they look kind of happy squeezed together too.. Need more cny square containers..

The Fix It Man

So I was trying to clean the house but noticed that the vacumn cleaner does not seem to have much suction...

Then I realized that there are things stuck in it!

So leh, I tried to remove the stuck thing... and it was so difficult lor...

I tried all sorts of ways but just bits of dust flew out...

And then my official handyman at home came to the rescue. Like me, Ace is a very hands on person and now that he has grown up, he is more aware of how to apply laws of science in his search for a solution.

So, working together and suggesting different things, we got to the point where we managed to dislodge the stuck piece of plastic a little...

Ace came up with the brilliant idea of shaping this hanger into a hook and use it to hook it out... and it worked! Brilliant! I think he is better than me!

The other day, I was using my highlighter and then part of it dropped out while the other part was stuck inside.. I tried to dig it out and then Ace walked over and said, "I know how to do this.. use gravity.." And he dropped it from a height and the whole things just dislodged itself...

I think my son is quite cool:) haha...

Nett Nett's Chilli Challenge

Max said he is not free to dinner with us and so we decided to go dinner with Cay, Ah Yee and Nett Nett....

Since they were eating vegetarian this weekend, we all ended up in  Bedok Mall and decided to eat at Green Dot.

So while we were eating, Ace asked if we could eat dessert afterwards because they also sold shaved ice as well...

So Nett Nett issued Ace a challenge... A CHILLI CHALLENGE!

If he eats the chilli padi... they will buy dessert to share....

And for all of us,  Ace decided he will SACRIFICE and take up the challenge...

OMG, lips already swollen...

Ace tried to look cool in the video.. moment I turned it off.. he was like... wah.. hot hot hot... LOL LOL LOL...

So happy to finally get the dessert...

BUT... AH yee told Ace afterwards that she would have bought him the dessert whether he ate the chilli padi or not... LOL...

So next time Nett Nett challenged Ace, he said he is not going to be taken in again!:) hahahahaha..

Popo bought a new table from the market.. she says it is collapsible and hence good for Ace if he wants to do homework in her house...

LOL... But Ace only ever plays games on her tablet wor!:)

But not a wasted purchase I guess cos it became the two cousin's toy for a while...

So I saw this game online... and with the Pirate Stab game secret being out in the open now... we can no longer play that with Yeye and Nainai..

I thought this game will make a good replacement and so I ordered online....

When he came, Ace excitedly asked me to play with him...

Was really quite fun... and Ace is quite good at it!

So leh, we decided to bring it over to Yeye Nainai house to play with them!

I was wondering if Yeye and Nainai will enjoy it.. and turns out... THEY DO!:)

And they are quite good at it and really spend time planning out which ice berg to hammer too!:)

Only thing is that Yeye cannot see the number for the dice clearly... and keeps asking us how many does he have to knock... so we had to use pen to outline it again... hahahaha...

Ace came home the other day and told me that his friend gave him this rubik cube.

I looked at the cube and wondered how do people solve it.. it is literally same colour but the single side have different rows of different heights...

He went online to watch a video and managed to solve it halfway... BUT... still unable to totally solve it...

Ace's Science Presentation

So Ace came home the other day and told me that they have been assigned presentation group work. And so he needed to borrow my computer to do work. When I was done with my work, I let him use the computer to finish up his project.

And when he was done, he showed off to me...

I looked at his presentation... I dunno whether to laugh or cry... Ever the funny man, my son's presentation feels like a SNL skit lor! LOL...

 So the theme was about the desert.... and dunno why the group wanted to call themselves GAUSS.

 It starts of innocently enough.... Just text and wordings and info...

Next is the FUN FACTS section and the fun facts section.. is done by our good friend Ace...

 Can someone tell me why fun facts need some joke about ARAL SEA???!!!

 And then okie... so there is useful info... And suddenly... I have osteoprosis?? simisai??!!

I asked Ace and he told me it is a MEME... Since when it is acceptable to add memes into your class presentation!?

 Then time to credit... and they credited one fren 0%.. Cos they say he did not do anything... HUH???

 And suddenly lots of DAB photos...

 ANd more jokes!

I really dun understand...

His dad saw it and told him he shouldnt credit someone zero percent... and  so when they had time to work on it in class the next day, they asked that guy to do something and credited him together with everyone else minus the percentage lah.. Is group work afterall..

Phew..

And he even told me they scored one of the highest because their teacher said their presentation is very entertaining! Seriously?!:) LOL

I guess this is what they call generation gap....
