It was Gong Gong Birthday so I thought might as well take the chance to invite them over for a meal..

Everyone had fun and we just dabao food... was a simple meal but everyone was happy..

There's Something About Secretary Kim... I watched the trailer and loved it cos it was so funny.. it helped that the leads were handsome and pretty as well..

Anyway, this inspired me to wear Secretary Kim outfits to work.. Hahahaha...

Scarf.. Tick.... Puffy sleeves... Tick... pencil skirt tick...

I just need a handsome, rich male lead.. hahahahahah

Smart TV

Since the TV kaput.. i decided to go buy TV..

But hor, I spent so much time doing research lah.. looking at this and that...

IN the end, it was either the cheap $649 Phillips or the $1049 LG....

I opted for the cheap one...

But after it was installed in my house. I dam regret...

The smart tv was not smart at all. I wanted to buy smart tv so I could watch alot of dramas on tv... but the smart tv couldnt download much apps except form the Phillips App STore and the only app that I can use ended up was YOUTUBE...

Interface was also difficult to navigate unless the LG that i saw... WHY.. why did i opt to save that $400 and make life difficult for myself. Even if I buy back Samsung also better than THIS!

But well, I complained to Ace and he said he happy to just do Youtube cos he doesnt watch tv at all anyway.

But now I know.. next time I will buy a better tv  instead of try to save money cos i spend so much time in front of my tv.. hahahaahahah...

It is Arcadia's anniversary celebration again...

It will be the first time i will see max after we moved out... somehow, I felt like I need to dress up and look my best. so I decided to wear the nice dress a friend gave me.... swee boh

But as time went on and more healing in my heart takes place.. I guess it is no longer very important how i look  in front of him... it doesnt matter to him at all.. it only matters to me:) I want to look good and feel good about myself.

I guess one of the biggest thing about going through a divorce is that your confidence level tends to take a nosedive.. and so you tend to want to do alot of things to make up for it... mostly to prove the other person wrong.. lol...

But the irony is that the only time you will really start to be able to really feel confident and look good.. when you are doing it for yourself because you treasure yourself and love yourself..

Ace Out With His Dad

Ace's dad finally turns around after a few months and starts to meet up with him regularly and bring him out regularly....

Earlier on, I always made sure to remind ace to call his grandparents etc...and i was often upset that his dad did not come to bring him out for meals... it broke my heart to see Ace so heartbroken..

But then i started to think that maybe I am overstepping my boundaries.. honestly, ace's rship with his father and with the Chua family.. should be Max's problem..not mine.. why do I need to do all the reminders etc...and why should I be upset?

FOr me, I just focus on Ace's rship with the Pengs and focus on leading a good life together.. so I stopped reminding Ace to call his grandparents. On my part, every now and then I will still message them to ask them how they are... That is all..

ANyway, still putting the pics here so Ace can look back on his memories...

Next day returned to my Jurong office and then found stashes of foods and tea on my desk!

I am so loved.

 It is exam period again and so Ace drew up a revision plan and a goal plus daimoku chart....

 To encourage him along. his laomu went all the way to Tampines to buy his fav Gongcha for him...

His dad.. after disappearing for a while has also started to ask to meet up for dinner with Ace again...

I really heave a sigh of relief because it was really tough for me to watch Ace go from... being upset.. to being angry.. to totally giving up because he wanted so much to spend more time with his dad but his dad was not ready to do so and kept himself away....

It is  a sweet present and what his dad will wish for him.. I hope Ace remembers this and keeps this close to his heart..

My JCI bros came to visit and do house warming... we bought so much food man... and so much drinks.. we even round two in karaoke! hahahaha...

THey even gave me money to buy new tv box... BUT my tv went kaput... so in the end i used th emoney to buy a new TV...

 Even Mr Chow bin very give face.. come out and play Cards Against Humanity with them...

Elisa asked Ace why his room so many posters of anime girls wearing very little... he said, "Is normal mah... If it is anime men wearing very little.. then my mother will be very worried already..."

Hahahaha..

After that we went karaoke...

I brought back a mooncake box that has lights.. so nice and special lor...

Ace asked if I could give it to him so I said ok...

Next day, he dismantled everything and took out the lights and made them into lights for under his study table... LOL
