My father in law likes to say that Ace has my “zhong” because he is more outgoing and likes music and dance. Daddy tends to be more shy and even though he likes music as well, he is not so much of a dance person until recently. (You are considered lucky you get to catch of glimpse of him dancing bhangra dance on this blog!:P)
I do think that Ace is musically inclined though. From a very young age since a few months back, he has been swaying to music.
But I really do not know where or how he learnt it… BUT he has got some dance steps for some of the music pieces he hears.
Whenever he hears music like Twinkle Twinkle Little Star or some fast music, he would raise his arms, shake his arms, wriggle his shoulders and if he is standing, he would shake his legs and wriggle his bum! Hahahaha.. sometimes, he looks exactly as if he was dancing SCS dance! But I have never danced that to him before..
Recently, he has also taken to composing and singing songs. His two new compositions are food related. The first one is called Nen Nen (it’s his code for FOOD or MILK) and it goes like this:

Nen, nen, nen, nen, nen, nen, nen, nen, nen, nen, nen, nen, nen, nen, nen, nen, nen, nen, nen, nen, nen, nen, nen, nen, nen, nen, nen…
Then the other day when he went to Waipo’s house and composed a new one. This one he composed when he got hungry and wanted his dinner. It is called, Nen Nen Nen, Mum Mum.
Haphazard tune goes along to the lyrics of: Nen nen nen nen nen nen nen, mum mum mum… nen nen nen nen nen nen, mum mum mum… nen nen nen nen nen nen, mum mum mum… nen nen nen nen nen nen, mum mum mum…
Waipo is so proud of him that she keeps asking him to repeat his performance in front of her friends. Alas, Ace only sings when he is in a good mood and is hungry.
