To The Beach We Go!

We bought Ace a Swing Scooter when we first came over to Dubai almost 3 years ago.


In the past three years, we brought the scooter out only a few times... Once to skoot in the shopping mall, once in the park and once when Max went to play cricket...

Then also he played it on and off with the neighbours but for the past year, as the scooter was kept in the corner behind the sofa, it was literally out of sight and out of mind for Ace and so, Ace sort of forgot that he has that scooter.

Dunno why... but when Max suggested going to the beach for a jog, Ace decided he wanted to go along and bring his swing scooter along...

So we agreed that Max will go do his jogging while I will walk and Ace scoot.. after that, me and Ace will go pick seashells..

 I must say tat looking at how fast Ace is going and how smooth he is on the swing scooter, I must say that Ace has indeed grown up!

He is no longer afraid of falling and goes really fast.. and he event tries to do stunts:)

 Then it was seashells time...

Ace enjoyed it sooooo much, he wanted to go again the following week... and we did!:)

 This time round, other than swinging left and right, he was even able to guage when to slow down when there are people and when to speed up...

 And then Ace wanted to pick seashells again..

 It was such a hassle to drag his kick scooter along on the beach..

 Just nice can take photo with Burj Khalifa...

 

 

 

Come following weekend, Ace still said that he wanted to go to the beach. Alas, the weather is undergoing some sort of anomaly and it is already very hot.. so I guess we will have to wait till October or November before we can attempt to go to the beach again...

He is so excited that he even tried to prepare his Show And Tell speech..
