Lijiang Day 5

Day 5 in lijiang was really more of like day 5 in Kunming.. hahaha:) cos we spent close to half a day in Kunming Airport.. anyway, early morning, we left our hotel for the airport and this is the view on the way there...

Reached airport early and since we had nothing to do.. camwhore lor... hahaha:)

Finally reached KUNMING.. have to spend 9 hours here...

We tried guo qiao mi xian.. which is a speciality here in this part of the world.. it is a noodle cooked by using chicken soup. Apparently, it came from the fact tat many yrs ago a scholar's wife noticed tat when she brought chicken soup to her hubby, it stayed warm and piping hot due to the layer of oil on top of the soup, so she came up with the idea of bringing chicken soup and meat, veg and noodles over before putting them all into the chicken soup to cook it so tat her hubby can eat fresh food.. this is vegeterian version.. i think we can do it ourselves in dubai as well if we can find noodles;)

It got very warm and so we left the cafe.. with nowhere else to go, we explored and found an adjacent building tat was linked. We found a massage place there but it is very ex.. so leh, we decided to hang around and sleep a while at the lounge area..... when i woke up, I started reading mags and saw these wonderful pics of Lijaing, Lijiang old town.. Suhe old town and Yu Long Xue Shan... so took pics of them:) This one is taken in Lijiang old town near Sifang Jie...

Back in the cafe to do nothing because at least they had wifi... Max very xian.. we ordered hong dou bing but in the end, it really came as crushed ice with red beans... and the tea with milk was also terrible.. and both very ex.. SIAN...

This one is titled FUCK THE SMOKERS! There is this no smoking sign in the cafe and we saw some people smoking and it irritated us so we asked the waitress "Here can smoke meh?" And she went to ask them to stop but they din want to.. so the waitress boh pian and gave us an asktray... thinking tat since she allow them, she must allow us to smoke.. wat the fuck.. wat are the signs for then leh.. fuck these fuckers! the intense heat, tiredness, boredom made me take this pic on the right lower corner just so i can watsapp to Max.. wahahahahahahha


One more idiot!

We tahan for 9 hrs and when hungry, we also did not eat so we can go into departure lounge to have a good meal.. but we went in only to find tat the cafe inside only served INSTANT NOODLES!

And then later, we even found out our flight was delayed for another two hours.. dunno whether to luff or cry. in return for patience, they gave us two cans of sprite... .. HAI... up on the plane, also were given lousy food... very sad...

Anyway, very glad to reach home and next day when i woke up.. so happy to see my OPTIMUS PRIME son.. hahahahahha:)
