Sweetest Ace

Since it was the DSF, we went to many different malls to check out what they have but only to find that this year's sale is quite sad. In fact, Lim, our fren told us that the branded shirt he was eyeing on had a "false sale". They actually marked up the original price of the item during DSF and then pretended that it was on discount! wa kauz!

Anyway, Ace got lost in the shopping mall and couldnt find us and cried and cried when he finally found and hugged me.. wahahahaha... serves him right for wandering alone without holding my hands;)

I can't believe it, father and son are still playing the same head wrestling game they used to play when Ace was a few months old!:)

Anyway, for Ace, the happiest part about the DSF hor is not about how many shoes or shirts he bought.. it is actually about whether he gets to eat mac donalds;) wahahaha

Anyway, we were trying to ask Ace to try out some pants so that we can decide whether to buy them... I actually took this picture to show Max how Ace looked like in the pants.. we din buy in the end..

But this series of dressing room photos reminded me of a real sweet thing that Ace did the other day...

Well, I had to go buy some toufu and it was only available at Spinneys.. which is like a 20 min walk away from home. So as to pass time and also to avoid the sun and enjoy aircon, I always dun mind walking a slightly longer way through Burjuman Shopping Mall:) And as I walk, I shop.. hahahahaha..

So that day, I saw that one of my fav shops, Promod is having sale because of DSF and so I asked Ace to go into the shop with me. I saw that some long dresses were on sale (I wanted to buy a long dress for long time and have been waiting for DSF to come so that I can buy one:)) and so I decided to go try. But as I was alone with Ace, I decided to bring him into the dressing room with me.

As I changed into the first pink dress, Ace looked at me up and down... and up again and with an expression of awe, my son told me, "Wah, Mummy... you look very very beautiful leh!" And then he told me I should buy this to surprise daddy... because I look so beautiful in this dress.

But I commented that this dress does not have a lining and is a little thin and so I changed into the other maroon coloured long dress.

After I put it on, he said, "Wah, this one also very beautiful leh.. you buy both lah..."

I told him I only wanted to buy ONE but cannot decide which one... I liked the pink one better but it was very see through... and I explained that without a lining, people might be able to see my underwear... But the maroon one seemed a little too formal for me.. looked more like a gown.. and it is more expensive too:) The pink dress is only 99 dirhams!

"I think you should buy the red one.." (he is referring to the maroon one) "Because it is very beautiful... and because cannot see your underwear. I dun like other people to see your underwear..."

Anyway, I tossed a coin and decided not to buy both till I checked out more malls and more sales.

Anyway, Ace's praise really made my day lor:) It is so sweet of him to say that:P I think he will make a good boyfriend or at least a good kaki to go shopping with because he really gives wonderful comments and I must say he has good sense of style too...

Anyway, I bought the pink dress in the end a few days later as I cannot find another dress that is as cheap and as nice... wahahahaha.. I found out tat if i wore a pair of shorts inside, then it doesnt matter liao:)
