Food Adventures

Because we got so bored with Dubai (as we have visited most major malls and places of interest a few times..) we have decided to explore Dubai in a different way.. through the many different restaurants.. ( we have also gotten tired of going to our usual restaurants)

The other day, we tried Al Forno at Crown Plaza Hotel (why are all italian restaurants called Al Forno???) and it was surprisingly good!:)

The tomato pasta with basil is fantastic!

Best of all is the dessert! Ooooh.. lovely chocolate lava cake.. need to wait for 45 min BUT is worth it lor!:)

Tiramisu... but this one is so so.. the chocolate lava cake still the BEST

And because Ace was at home for a whole week I had to rack my brains about what to make him for breakfast, lunch and dinner.. presenting.. tamago sushi:) wahahaha.. notice my egg is very thin slice? Cos I din have enough lor.. so got to make thin slice....

We tried to go to the cheesecake factory at Dubai Mall.. alas, it was totally PACKED.. without reservation, you needed to wait one hour and 15 minutes! So we decided to eat something else:)

We ended up at burger fuel again.. managed to persuade Ace try the burgers here and the verdict was that he liked it:)

One of the nights we also ventured into what our friend told is is a famous korean chicken place in the states...

The decor and the menu looks good:)

But the food was so so only.. maybe it is cos we are vegeterians and they are famous for their chicken...

Kimchi coleslaw anyone?

Ace said he was still hungry and sowe bought a dozen donoughts... some of them are HALLOWEEn designs.. cute hor:)

A few days ago, Max went for lunch alone and had this new addition to the vegeterian menu... it is called Mc Spicy Paneer... so bad.. never bring me and still take pic to show me and make me hungry...

We also found this new brand of fruit juices that arent too sweet.. Max bought the Acai berry one and insists that he has a durian aftertaste.. I think he must be going mad because he has not eaten durian for two years!:) wahahah
