Furniture Shopping!

Since we decided on where to stay.. it was time to do a little furniture shopping so we spent the weekend shopping:)

Brought Ace along so that he can have a say ;) haha

First stop we went to was this shop at Tan Boon LIat Building... we saw their online catalogue and as both me and Max are very woody people.. we love all the wooden furniture they have... so decided to go there to take a look.. only to find that there are quite a few furniture shops there...

Alas, their stuff all dam ex siah...

Ace was very intrigued by this pair of XXL size chopsticks and asked me to take a pic

That is Max posing with his favourite piece.. a dining table cum bar top counter. Alas, this whole set costs something like 5K. Way beyond our budget...

They had a kids corner where children can doodle and Ace took the chance to draw..

Went to a few other furniture shops..

So nice this piece is sort of retro...


And then we decided that we will head to IKEA...

Only to find a similar piece there. The one we saw in TBL was 2000 sing.. the IKEA one also almost 900 bucks...

Well, KIV only lah.. so ex...

Ace trying out this bed..

Ace saying that he WANTS this chair... hahaha.. in the end we din buy cos he din need it at all

Thought this is interesting idea.. and that we can do the same. Alas,  Ace's room was too small to do that..

After IKEA, we went for dinner.. Ace was super hungry and we couldmt really find any good place to eat and settled for Ma Masons....

THey have got a promo.. dads get a beer... mums get ice cream...

Ace gets a game:)

But the food so so onli leh..

But we had fun playing the game lah :)

The next day, we went to this place called comfort furniture cos i did my sums and find all the furniture we have seen so far too ex and I saw that they were having some sort of promo...

Ace loved this horse there and kept asking me to buy for him.. hahaha.. but no place to put lor!:)

Max says the rocking chair very comfy.. and I agree! We bought one in the end:) haha

Saw this and it reminded me of a friend who loves vodka...

We love benches.. alas, in the end no space..

We did find a cheap and nice dining table there and went home happy after we made our orders..

And I guess all that is left to do is unpack and purchasing the little nick nacks..
