We decided to make our way to the Nature Reserve where they house flamingos again..
So one afternoon, we made our way there near feeding time like the security guard told us the week before..
We were really lucky.. before we even walked into the viewing hut, we saw two flamingos in the ponds nearer to us... they were eating I think...
That is max and Ace happily walking backwards into the viewing hut.. As we were walking in, we were debating this... do flamingos fly? Can flamingos fly? Ace said they can't because they are so big and heavy like ostriches... I supported Ace's logic but Max says that they can fly... so I told ace we will go home and google for the answer.
Inside the hut, there was poster with the flamingos and some charts to show the different species of flamingos that they have in the nature reserve..
They even provide you with a telescope to see the birds clearly:) Beside us were many people holding big time cameras trying to capture nice pics of the flamingoes.. I can only rely on my trusty lumix:) hehehe
The birds all huddled together...
My Lumix can take such a close up shot and look so nice.. also not bad right?:P wahahaha...
I even managed to take a picture of wat you can see inside the telescope just for your reference...:)
I like those with the fiery red wings.. very nice:)
We saw some of them dancing and grooving with their legs. Too bad I am unable to take a pic of a single flamingo doing that:)
You can't tell but they are actually dancing and moving their legs...
Anyway, as feeding time approaches, the flamingos from elsewhere started to fly and congregate towards this area... hahahha.. so now we have our answers about whether flamingos can fly..
That is the feeding truck...
On our way out, we even caught side of some other birds:)
And also saw a wrecked car seated by the roadside.. no one claim it or do anything to it.. dunno how it got there also...
