Ice Cream Day!

During wkends, Ace always wants to go gai gai... so I told him that if he is a good boy and takes his afternoon nap, I will bring him out for ice cream.

Unfortunately, he was so excited and the whole time he did not want to sleep. So I told him I will not be bringing him out since he did not do what I asked him to..

But leh, he kept giving me a very sorry poor thing face.. and also because i pitied him because i knew it would be tough for us to go out often now that his dad is not around.. i decided to still bring him anyway as long as he did his homework..

So we went to swensons for ice cream and did colouring there.. after that, we walked around a bit and went home... by the time he reached home, he STILL did not want to sleep and still jumped around.. hahahaah...

And so that I could have him do something interesting every week, I decided to create some sort of theme for him every week...

One week would be bread making, another week would be cake making (which has to be changed. During my initial discussion with Ace, we were supposed to make a strawberry chiffon cake for my mum's BD but my mum requested us to NOT buy cake so it will be changed to bread baking ,.. but baking another type of bread...) and another week would be sandwhich making cos I bought a really cool contraption that can cut your sandwhich into four different cute shapes...

Despite that, I think still have to bring him out to gai gai.. which I think I will do once every two weeks or so lah..

Let's see how it will all unfold:)
