Ace's Birthday Celebration

About a month before Ace's birthday,he started to draw a calender to countdown...

I told him he should also draw a list of presents he wants so that if people ask me what he wants for his birthday, they can refer to the list...

And so, he came up with the following list..

As his birthday falls on a weekday, we decided that we will go celebrate over the weekend...

Little surprise that Ace requested that he gets to celebrate at Uncle Ryos AGAIN!:)

There was also the usual inari and egg sushi but I was too bz eating.. so din take photo:) wahahha

And of course, there was a surprise cake for him!:)

Gosh.. cant believe my little baby is now 8.. and a LITTLE BOY.. turning into a little man SOON!

The next day, we went shopping around for his birthday present. he said he wanted the Laser Pegs... and when we went to Virgin, we couldnt find the set that he wanted.. so we said we will go to another shop the next day to find...

Next day, we went to the next shop, and we realized that he did not seem too excited by the Laser Pegs...  his dad asked him if he wanted to save the money up for something else and he said he wanted to save the money up to buy a PS Vita!


So we started looking around for the price... and Max told Ace that he had to do a few things to get the permission to BUY it even if he raised the money..
- have to recite times table till 12...
- have to keep his study desk clean

And then Ace started to think of how he can raise the money given that I will contribute some and Max will contribute some. He says he is going to do a EMAIL marketing thingy. where he will email people to ask for money... and guess who is the first person he tot of?????

Fayth,,, IS YOU! wahahaha.. you are easy mark! :) wahahaha

I told him he cannot just ask people for money. He can earn the money by providing a service or something of value. He can sell cookies.. or he can draw paintings to sell...  Cannot take advantage of Fayth jie jie just because she is generous and always kind to him.




I was curious though why he never think of asking his godmas or his ah yee.. and he said.. "But they are in Singapore, cannot give me money in dubai..." wahahaha.. so I had to explain that there is something called BANK TRANSFER... But still I told him he cannot ask for free money..


Anyway, he supposed to go do his sums and see how much he needs to raise first lah..  I also reminded him that Annie Godma left some extra here with us.. so he has to hit certain targets to be able to use it mah.. so if he hit target, he can use the money lah...

Actually also dunno why Max suddenly allow him to buy.. i tot we kept telling Ace that he is too young to have a PS Vita.. anyway, the rule is we get to keep it and decide when he can play with it.. wahahaha...
