The Jungle Book At Burjuman

Summer time! This means that nothing much to do except go to the malls and this means that there will be lots of exciting performances in the malls..

The mall near our place had some sort of performance... it was The Jungle Book.. a story that I know but am not really familiar with.. and so,  when Ace was young, I did not expose him to this story...

For him it is a first time.. watching this story... In summary, it is about a boy who was adopted by some animals in the jungle and then there is a tiger who wants to eat him and how he and his animal friends outstmarted the tiger..

That is the Jungle Boy  ;) Nope, I am afraid his name is not Tarzan and he did not lose his underwear..

That's BLUE, his best friend.. a bear who loves to eat..

These contortionists are supposedly snakes:)

I love the costumes.. they even gave the bear a tummy and some muscles on the legs...

The monkey costumes remind me of chinese martial arts... qi tian da sheng inspired maybe. :) Cos from the accent, I could tell that one of the monkeys is Asian.. not ang moh like the rest of the cast...

One of the more talented casts members.. this bird can juggle.. can FLY also... haha:)

I think the artistic direction was good.. and the show tried to be relevant to the kids by using lots of pop songs and popular phrases..

They even had the bear pretend to be JUSTIN BIEBER just so to distract the monkeys.. (who are lackeys of the tiger) so tat they can save the boy..

See, told you this bird can fly:)

At the end of it, there was a photo session but Ace says while he gave the performance a 10 out of 10, he doesnt really like the characters enough to want to take pictures with them.. so we went shopping lor ;) wahahaha
