Since Ace is on his"male your own recycled toy" phase, he has been collecting water bottles from restaurants after meals.
The other day, we were having lunch with A, J, C and his gf... and J joked with Ace and challenged him to make a water gun out of the water bottle...
To my surprise, Ace took the challenge rather seriously and was thinking about it on the way home.
The moment we arrived home, he started to take out his kar chang...
In about 30 minutes, he made the water gun!
Apparently, he stuck a can to be the portion of the gun where you hold.. and he cut a hole in the cap and he says you just need to put water inside and squeeze the water out... that is him trying out if his end product works in the toilet..
And then he decided that he needed an accurate aim..and so he roled something up and put it on top of the "gun" to use as the peephole for you to aim. I told him if it is a water gun, it will get wet... "That roll of paper will get wet leh.."
"Ya, I know..." he told me.. "That is why I cut out from plastic bag.. it is plastic.. it is ok to be wet..."
I am quite impressed that he thought out even the little details in the construction ;)
