Shortly after we returned to Singapore,Popo asked if Ace wanted to attend the JPD meeting here.So she got a form and help Ace signed up.
Ace was also rather lucky. After attending one General meeting, Ace got to sign up to perform in the YFP performance.
Initially, he said he did not want to sign up because he doesnt like to be told what dance steps to do.. hahahaha.. in the end, he found out that his class monitor is also a soka member and that he is also taking part and so he says he doesnt mind taking part if he has company.
After a few months of practice... finally the chance for him to perform ;) As parents, we got tickets for the preview show...

Thank god for other helpful people who took and shared pics:) When Max saw this performance, he was totally amazed. He was very impressed and says he thinks only Soka can pull this off;)

Actually, through his involvement with the YFP.. Ace also got to see himself the soka spirit and experience the power of daimoku...
On the first day of performance, there was a really heavy rain and everyone at the event or at home were fervently chanting for the rain to stop.... Meanwhile, many volunteers formed a HUMAN SHELTER but holding umbrella s and standing in the rain so that the performers can walk from holding area to performance area.
As all around Singapore was raining heavily, I was wondering why it was still raining despite so much daimoku... And after that someone sent me this pic.. apparently, during the performance time, TPY area where the performance was held was all sunny while everywhere else was still grey and rainy...
I showed Ace this and told him, this is the power of Daimoku.. and he says it is awesome:)
