Whenever Ace gets bored, he will start to create trouble.. For example, he will take out all his toys hidden and kept in the variuos places and turn the living room into chaos...
So a good way to keep him out of trouble is to give him some chores to do and he is more than happy to help contribute.
The other day, my mum wanted to cook and so she asked Ace to help her wash the vegetables for her.
Another day, after she ironed her clothes, she asked Ace to help her hang them up.
Ace went into the room for a very long time and finally came out with a stack of clothes. Apparently, he thought she meant for him to fold the clothes and so he did.. and he did such a great job too! :) The clothes are folded so nicely they are folded even more nicely than I would have done them myself ;)
He is also happy to help bring the dishes to the sink, help to throw things away, help to clean the table and also help to change the bedsheets:)
I guess a replacement and diversion strategy is a great strategy to keep Ace out of trouble ;) hahahaha...
PS: Godma Karen says her baby is a girl.. so I guess Ace can help to take care of his Gan Meimei in future as well! :)
