After we left the old souk, we initially wanted to look for a souk called Kabooz Souk.. we followed the GPS and again, we cannot find it!:) whahaha.. but leh, we ask people, they also direct us eventually to Al Fair Supermarket (which is actually SPINNEYS)....
So we went supermarket shopping and one of our gang got adventurous and walked around and found a very nice, quaint cafe!
I like what I see!!!!
The interior is so beautiful!
There is even a kid's swing corner.. so shiok.. ;)
The menus are also very quaint.. like a story book!:)
Oooh.. so much nice food that me and Max like... too bad that we dun have time to have a meal here...
They also provide Archie's Comics:)
Max is very sad... he saw his favourite food but cannot order cos it is near dinner time!

But perfect for Ace! wahahahaha
Then we made our way to find a place where we can take pictures of the sunset. Decided to park here by the sea and wait for sun set.. see that rock in the middle of the sea? Ace says when he grows up, he will want to buy the island.. he will be his island and his kingdom.. but because it is his island.. when we go visit, we have to follow his rules.. wahahah :)

The sunset was initially ok.. cos the clouds were away.. but too bad it moved and covered the sun later...
Ace saw this boat out at sea and cried out loud, "Mummy Somali pirates! Somali pirates!" Cos he watched Captain Philips and the pirates were driving a simple boat similar to this one.. hahahaha

As we were right next to the sea, it was quite cold and windy:) so we were all covered up:)

Then the sun set liao.. and someone said they were selling satay furthur down.. so we decided to walk over to take a look...

Alas they said it was nowhere near our Singapore standard!

In the morning, the waitress in our hotel told us that there is a good chinese restaurant near so and so hotel.. we saw two of them and took a chance with the one called Foodlands... alas, it turned out to be the worst dinner ever!
Because we were all tired of indian food (except Max)... we ordered Thai Food.. this is the pad thai...
This yucky looking thing is green curry....
It is just a blur of a nightmare... thank god the fried rice still sort of can make it and Ace managed to eat some dinner...

Before we left, our friend BTH and go and tell the staff... TERRIBLE FOOD, WORST FOOD I EVER TASTED.. and we even refused to tip them! wahahahah...
Thank god the excellent company more than made up for the disgusting food:)
Saw an Omani police car... and a friend told me she saw the lumburghini UAE policecar before.. she even got permission to sit inside to take photos.. so shiok!:) wahahaha
Then leh, go room, bath, rest a while and time for late night "yum cha" session.. complete with ownself BYO drinks and cups! wahahahah
And then.. time to pack it all up and rest.. tomorrow, we will take a leisurely drive home and maybe have lunch at the famous Hatta Fort Hotel:)
