So touched ne...
Sent Ace to composition tuition classes..
First composition exercise was that they had to write a paragraph that describes their MOTHER.
Ace wrote this...
把我写的那么美,真是不好意思...
But what made me really happy is that his teacher said he was the only one who completed his work independently and did the story well. She said he is very creative and good in application. Only thing was alot of 错字and a little lost focus sometimes.
This gives me hope that given more practice, my 作文fail all the way so far son can also become 小作家!:)
But leh, Ace was a little upset when he found out first two weeks he has to go chinese tuition everyday. He says he is the only person in class who did not get to go overseas and the only person in class who has to go tuition everyday during holidays.
And he is really a little ke lian lah.. cos he has two tuition sessions every weekday and so it is like going to school.
But i explained to him that if he is willing to tough it out now, he will get better at the language and then it will be easier for him when school reopens.
After a few lessons, his teacher suggested that we downgrade him to P3 level for tuition so that he can have a better foundation and that lessons will be more enjoyable for him. I really hope all the tuition will help him catch up. His teacher encouraged him and told him one of his friends in the tuition class cried initially as he was not good in chinese but he managed to become good it it and even got the good progress award afterwards. I certainly hope this will make a difference for his P4 year end exams:)
Anyway, while he is complaining of tuition, he also had fun there as his teacher will always treat them to fries and he has a group of friends tat he got one along with very well at the first lesson... so they will bring toys and play with each other during break... HIs tuition teacher said he is good at making friends and they all love him:) haha..
But Ace says he only likes to play with the younger kids.. when I asked him why... he says because most of the older kids are not good to the young ones. "They like to haolian to the younger kids and say things like 'I am bigger than you so I got this... i can do that...' and they will keep showing off how because they are older they have more freedom... so Ace says he prefers to play with the younger kids who are more into having fun:) wahahaha... Sometimes I really wonder why everyone tell me my son is very mature!:) wahahahaha
