Ace, Better Become A Doctor

"I think you better become a doctor in future.." Max told Ace when we were at the doctor's that day.

Ace was down and he kept having fever on off and kept feeling tired.. so we let him sleep and sleep and fed him alot of natural healthfoods tat is good for fighting infection...alas, his fever keeps coming and going and we had to wake to sponge him with ice water twice in the night. So just for a peace of mind, we brought him to the doctors when by the next day evening, his fever still was coming and going...

Turned out that he had some sort of infection inside the nose.. that is what is causing the fever.. and it is not too bad given tat his lymph nodes were not swollen ( I feel it was thanks to all the natural health foods I was giving him)... so leh, doctor gave him medicine + nasal spray for his infection and sensitive nose, fever medicine, anti biotics and the bill came up to a whooping $189! That was why daddy made tat comment...

Anyway, Ace dun really care.. he was just happy that he had some new additions to his doctor set and he kept asking me if when he finishes his medicine, can i wash the little cups and sryinges that came along with the medication and give it to him for his doctor set...

When we were at the doctors, we read a newspaper article tat said tat children below 9 years old on the average have fevers 6-9 times A YEAR! My son has only seen the doctor 2 times in 5 years of his life! Thank god for that!

Anyway, children nowadays are very the lucky lor.. their medication taste nice one lor.. the fever one tasted like orange, the antibiotics SMELT LIKE STRAWBERRIES!
