2017 CNY Reunion

This year CNY, we had our reunion with Popo and Gonggong early cos Ah Yee and her family is not available on the actual day.

When Cay's fav Yee Zhang arrived, he requested to play their fav game....

 Let the feet touch the ceiling.. Seems like yesterday when Ace was small enough to play this sort of games with his dad... like hanging to his dad's arm... sitting on his shoulders.... Now too heavy liao.. cannot liao... So his dad plays "see if I can help you "crack" the spine" game when they got time...

This year, Popo says gonggong suggested to cook seperate dishes instead of doing steamboat like the past years...

 Max left for some gathering he had with his soccer team once the dinner was over.. He said he has to go cos they were giving out awards and he won himself one.. But I asked him why they all posing with beer and he said it is cos his award is too small:) hahaha

 After the meal, my grandma said I should bring this home. She knows I love this and bought for me... feels good to be still pampered by my grandma even when I am approaching the big 4-O :)

A week later, we had our reunion dinner at Nainai house.. this year, our god aunty joined us along with her daughters as they were visiting from Malaysia:)

 These two jie jie were my "flower girls" at my wedding lor... Times flies! They are such beautiful and graceful women now! AND... my son already as tall as they are!

And no new year complete with a huat guay tat already huat-ed... HUAT AH!


After dinner, time for some fun and games! And we are back to our favorite-- Lucky Stab!

 First must take out money and exchange for coins. Each stab is 20 cents!:)

 I think can tell Ace is losing at this point:) hahahaha

 Suddenly, Ace hug this chicken stuff toy his grandfather bought.. and he start to win and win! Huat ah! He thinks this is his lucky chicken now and asked to bring it home!:) LOL

Since I not playing... when I am not taking photos.. I self entertain by doing THIS and showing Nainai the end results to entertain her cos she is not playing too!:) hahahaha

 

 Ace taking a break... and looking happy cos Jolene and Adeline Jie jie and Joanne Gugu gave him presents...

And this is where things turn interesting....Ace told us tat he realized tat there is a trick to finding WHERE to stab so tat the pirate head will pop out....

 We experimented and found it to be TRUE!

So as we dun spoil the game for others.. not revealing wat is the secret behind finding exact spot to stab for the head to pop out. YOu are free to watch this video repeatedly:) LOL

 Now we know the secret.. cannot play liao.. so sit and drink and talk cock sing song...

Have to think of new games to buy and play next year!
